Broughton House is located in Kirkcudbright, Scotland. Thomas Douglas, 5th Earl of Selkirk (1771-1820) resided there.

Stafford House is the Duke of Sutherlans's town residence in London, England. It was renamed in 1912 as Lancaster House.

I loved visiting Chartwell. So many interesting historical things to see. There is a gorgeous Persian carpet given to Churchill by the Shah of Iran.The painting studio is quite interesting. He has to die for rose beds
