On our 2025 trip we are hoping to seen quite a few stately homes/castles etc. Here is the list of some of the ones we are hoping to see. Obviously we will only be able to see a fraction of them : We land in London and will go to Canterbury for 2 days, before embarking from Dover. We will stay those nights at Lord Kitchener’s home Broome Park  (surprisingly reasonable!) https://www.broomepark.co.uk/. Nearby are Leeds Castle, Dover Castle, Rochester Castle, Penshurst Place, Knole, Chartwell, Ightham Mote, Godington House, Hever Castle, Sissinghurst, and many wonderful houses. Another stop is Isle of Lewis there is Lew’s Castle and Nan Eilean. Dublin has Farmleigh House, Malahide Castle, Newbridge House, Rathfarnham Castle, Powerscourt, and Ardgillan Castle. The real mother lode is the stop in Liverpool. There, within driving distance  is Croxteth Hall, Speke Hall, Gawthorpe,  Lyme, Hardwick,  and the amazing Chatsworth. The last two ports are Inverness and Edinburgh.I’ve already booked the Britannia excursion! We finish back in London for 2 days  and will do the Windsor & Buck house tour. So excited! I will take many pix to share with my fellow dishers!
