BTW he is the former father in law of Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, the very cosy female friend of king Juan Carlos of Spain Wink

In 1989 Corinna Larsen married English businessman Philip Adkin, they have a daughter together (1992). They divorced in 1995. In 2000 Corinna married prince Casimir zu Sayn Wittgenstein Sayn, second son of Alexander. Together they have a son (2000). They divorced in 2005, but Corinna retained the use of her married name.

Alexander's second daughter Philippa (1980-2001) unfortunately died in a car crash just three months after her wedding.

this one amuses me - looks like she has just got out of church and can't wait to light up!

I assume the people who are going to greet her have a lighter present with them Wink
Does anyone have any info on Gabriella Habsburg-Lothringen?

Extremly good-looking young woman I must say!

Archduchess Gabriella Maria Pilar Yolande Joséphine Charlotte of Austria (Habsburg-Lothringen) is born May 26, 1994 in Geneva, Switzerland. She is the second daughter and the youngest child of princess Marie Astrid of Luxembourg and Archduke Carl Christian of Austria. Her elder siblings are:
- Archduchess Marie Christine (born in Brussels, July 31 1983). Countess of Limburg- Stirum after het marriage on December 6, 2008 to count Rodolphe de Limburg Stirum (born in Uccle, March 20, 1979). They have two sons: count Léopold (born April 19, 2011) and count Constantin (born October 25, 2013)
- Archduke Imre (born December 8, 1985) Married on September 8, 2012 in Washington to American Kathleen Walker (born in Cincinnati, in 1986). They have one daughter: Archduchess Maria Stella (born November 11, 2013)
- Archduke Christoph (born in Geneva, February 2, 1988). Married on 28 & 29 december 2012 in Nancy to Adélaïde Drapé-Frisch (born in Lilas, September 4 1989). According to rumours Adélaïde is currently expecting their first child.
- Archduke Alexander (born in Meyrin, September 26, 1990)

Through her parents Gabriella is related to the Luxembourg royal family (House of Nassau Weilburg) and the House of Habsburg. Gabriella is the niece of Grandduke Henri of Luxembourg.

Fun fact, her mother Marie Astrid is a first cousin of princess Astrid of Belgium.  Astrid is married to Archduke Lorenz of Austria d'Este, who in his turn is a first cousin of Gabriella's father Carl Christian.

Gabriella was bridesmaid at the weddings of her elder sister Marie Christine and brother Imre

Up until the big campaigns of the late nineties/2000s many people smoked and it was not frowned upon, in fact it was as normal and accepted as is todays fashion to show up with a cup of coffee everywhere and the church.
We have come to condemn and demonize smoking to a point at which looking at a young father with a child on his shoulders and a burning fag in his hand gets our hackles up as if we witness child abuse or at least endangerment. Smoking has transitioned into the outlawed.
Will we eventually see the same with other unhealthy social drugs? Will we get to a point in which we have the same negative and outraged feelings when we look at pictures with wine or champagne glasses on the table?
Sugar? Caffeine?

Can someone please say who the woman is? She's very beautiful and a reverse google search only brought up that she's a Greek film star and that there were strong rumours of some sort between her and king Constantine....

In short: they all smoke. Goodness!
I think some of them eat the cigs (Margrethe!).

Yeah the demonizing of vices is a touch out of hand, but with smoking the main problem is that the person smoking affects literally everyone in their surroundings. When I'm in places where indoor smoking isn't banned yet(!!) I really have trouble, it affects even my eyes and the smell is just horrid and sticks around for absolute ages...

The best bit though is that doctors used to recommend cigs to pregnant women to help with morning sickness!!! That's how some women started and became hooked..
So beware your doc's recommendations!

These photos are literally nauseating.  Must remind self to stay away from this thread.
Goes to show how times and perception changes. Not long ago smoking was seen as cool and whatnot and now its just nasty and frowned upon.

Idk, I know at least one person who lived back in the days, and who really stayed away from everything that had to do with cigarettes.
Poison sticks, she called them, and said it was obvious they were not good for you.
She also said she didn't feel like seeing her money go up in smoke. Unfortunately she was subjected to passive smoking at her job, and got health problems because of that.
I remember when I was a kid and the dangers of smoking were not discussed like now, that I still thought of smokers "wow, they're stupid".
Not really kind, but there you go.  Roll Eyes
I guess there's always the option not to follow trends, but to make up your own mind. Sometimes that's "healthy".
