And Henrik offering it to toddler Fred?
I was also surprised by the pictures of Henri(k) offering a smoke to his eldest son (a toddler at the time).
In comparison to the past the attitude about smoking has changes. But even nowadays there are several smoking royals, old and young.
I do accept that it was a different time and smoking was socially more acceptable, but encouraging a child to take a puff is beyond the pale. The good news is that, with Fred at least, it didn’t seem to stick. Hopefully Jokke will continue more healthier habits too.
