Interesting photo crop or maybe I’m just in a mood. It was part of a group of photos she shared on one reel.

I don't think she cropped it, I think that is how it shows up in Instagram and then when you click on it the whole image will be shown. However, even if she did crop it, her caption is a thank you to the queen, so I think her intention would have been to center the image on the queen rather than drum up some diabolical scandal.

Same from me. It is just the tabloids making up some fake outrage.

Agree, Instagram can do that - it looks fine when you add it, but when it posts it gets cropped. It has happened to me as well.

One of the UK newspapers had an article on this and pointed out it was likely unintentional - Instagram defaults to square display which tends to crop out the edges of "normal" rectangular pics. You can see from the screenshot it is the second in a group of photos posted - the first was of The Queen alone so fitted perfectly in the square format instagram defaults to. Apparently you can change the setting to better display rectangular photos so it doesn't crop out the edges of pics, but only for a whole set of pics not individual. I never knew that and suspect possibly Eugenie didn't either. I'm not at all a Eugenie fan of late but I honestly think this was unintentional.

I sincerely hope this is the case.

If it was deliberate, it was incredibly short-sighted by Eugenie. William’s power and influence are only going to to grow, so why insult his wife? And in 20 years from now it will be William and George with all the power.

It would be a real case of backing the wrong horse.

Even if it was unintentional, one verifies how it looks what one posts. I have deleted so many posts and republished better centered so many times, to the point I first post with the confidentiality “only me” before changing to “public”.

I think it is, along with Eugenie not checking her posts - I don't post on insta but I have has to monkey a bit with my profile pictures to get them to fit. It all depends on the size of the picture. If it was brought to her attention she probably squared it with Cams and Kate.
I go back and edit my posts here half the time. 

More media pot stirring IMHO. They get antsy when everyone seems to be getting along.

I agree - it’s just the media stirring the pot. I would be very surprised if Eugenie was so publicly malicious like that. Doesn’t seem like her at all.

I think Eugenie, if the intention was to put only the heirs, did well, the royal house itself does that. Always the heirs
I think Charlotte was left in the photo, but from the position she wouldn't have been able to cut her
And really the Jubilee is about The Queen not about Kate

If this was deliberate she also invited Charles' wife.

I doubt that Eugenie really cares that much as it is clear that both Charles and William have no time for the York girls. They will probably not be attending any royal events once the Queen dies and they know it so it really doesn't matter what they do regarding Charles and William.

That being said, I am curious as to the nature of the friendship with the York girls and Kate.  I know at the very beginning of things, there was a lot of animosity between them.  Was it Beatrice or Eugenie who was crying in the restroom at Kate's disco rollerskate party?  Anyway, I just would be curious to know if all that's water under the bridge and they're genuinely friends now, or if it's more of a polite but not close relationship.

I think Kate chooses who she has a relationship with... and the York’s are not likely ... just no connection... younger and irrelevant.... I think Kate is extremely limited in that sense

Instagram has no tolerance for differently sized pictures so if you post multiple pics they will crop wide frame down to a square. It's one of the features of IG that I don't like.
