My first thoughts was Eugenie girl, this was something you should have backed out of. Then I dug a little deeper. I looked at the website for The Anti Slavery Collective. I knew she had gotten involved in the cause, but I did not know she co-founded the collective until I read the article. It speaks, yes, about sexual exploitation, child and otherwise, but also about forced labor and forced marriage.
I would be less impressed if this was something she just started, but it’s been in place for a couple of years, and in the works for at least five more. The Collective was formed, not on a whim, but after careful fact finding and study.
This will in no way expiate any wrongs by her father, but I’m not going to extend the sins of the father onto the child. Just because her father is part of the problem does not mean Eugenie cannot be part of the solution.
The article is more of a puff piece on what she wore, which is a pity. That said, she did look nice, apart from a neckline that plunged a bit too much. On the other hand, I now know that the US has an Ambassador at Large for combatting Trafficking in Persons, so good for us.https://theantislaverycollective.org
