Princess Eugenie was embroiled in a racism row last night after a group she joined on the social networking website Facebook was branded “offensive” by equal rights campaigners. The 17-year-old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York sparked outrage after joining a group set up by one of her friends called “Tassilo is a Spearchucker.”

Well, she DOES come from a family not known for its brainpower.  And her father definitely is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I seem to belong in a similar drawer, since I can't really make out what the article is about.
So a group of Richie Richs started picking on one their own, a guy not only privileged and rich and spoilt just like them, but also  white as a bed linen and an anti-rascism campaigner took offence because of the word "Spearchucker" Huh? ?

I don't know about that Chris.  I read before that of all the Queen's grandchildren she was the most studious of all.  Her myspace blog statess that she got two A*s, four As and three Bs. which I think indicate she does have some brainpower.

I was referring to her ability to know how to behave appropriately and properly, not her academic smarts.  Joining a group of "Yahoo Henrys" on the internet in order to disparage a friend with comments that have distinct racial and "colonial" overtones shows a lack of sense to me.  And I know that she's still in her teens, but her parents should have instilled in her a sense of responsibility due to her position.  Oops...her parents are Freeloader Fergie and Randy Andy.  Enough said.

Could it be because she is one of the Queen's grandchildren she earns some kind of scoring privilege? I know it's debatable, but since the Queen's family members aren’t really that many, upgrading their academic scores won't really spoil the whole Britain's education system. Plus, it will become a good publicity both for the royalty and the schools they entered.

I have great reservations about the academic record of any royals, be it a bit unfair. But because they are not your average person, they don't get treated like an average person. - Don't ask me what an average person is! I don't think they exist, but perhaps you'll understand what I'm saying.

Anybody can register on any site using any name - there is no eveidence that it was her  just to begin with. If she apologises publically then that will be enough to prove but other than that or anyone knowing her IP adddress- nothing. There have been myspace sites supposedly set up by these young royals too with lots of other aristocrats etc as friends on the sites - just another incident. Perhaps Princess Eugenie could join here- there is Queen Margrethe on another royal website  Grin

You can pretend to be anyone you want to be on these pages.  No one can stop you from using another person's name.

I agree that anybody can set up a blog site and pretend to be someone else.  But I tend to believe that Eugenie's myspace site is for real as it has been reported on the new and the BRF has not issued any denials.  I would think that if somebody is impersonating Eugenie thru this site the palace would issue an immediate denial.

Oh goody...more attractive pictures of one of the York sisters.  This time it's 'Uge on holiday in Thailand, wearing a skimpy stars and stripes bikini and acting like...well, acting like Fergie.  The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?

What I don't understand is why this 6th in line to the throne is provided by 2, yes 2, Scotland Yard bodyguards while frolicking in the sea. Even Mosh has only 1, while jogging?? What are the British taxpayers doing about this??

And wow! at 18 years old, are her breasts already sagging or are they just too "Euge"Huh?

Dear Lord.  I take back what I said in another thread about Eug being the better looking of the York sisters--I thought the pics of her in a bikini were of Bea!  Turns out they both look the same when they are wet n wild.

and they are both......well, they are both just entirely too fat to be prancing around in a bikini.  It's just gross, all that flab hanging over everywhere.  Who wants to look at that?  A one piece would be bad enough.  And i'm not being fat prejudiced; I am not exactly Elle McPherson myself!  The have such big hips/asses and little whittled in waists..the nearly look deformed IMO..is Fergie shaped like that too?

Because by insisting on having 24/7 bodyguards for his two grown daughters, their father makes himself feel more important in the grand scheme of things.  He's waaay important enough to have round-the-clock security so they need it too because they're related to him.  Gag.
