So their trip to Ghana is from April 12th to the 14th...another NO SHOW at the twins' christening???  First no Victoria and Daniel, now no Haakon and Mette Marit...hmmm...

Good pick up, Joy!  So the question isn't so much 'which royals will Mary and Fred select to be godparents', but 'which royals will actually show up?'. If any of their royal counterparts bother attending, they will get a Godparent guernsey by default.

Uh yes she has some weired stuff she puts on her head now and then

I think all Astrid has is those two plus that one she wore recently that's sort of like a headband.  Unique and very early-20th century, but I wouldn't want her wearing it all the time.

She really did get the short end of the stick on the NRF tiaras.  There are sometimes conversations amongst the sugars about whether or not Astrid's tiaras will pass to her 3 daughters or whether they will go back to the NRF when she dies.  My thoughts are always, who CARES what happens to them?  I hope her girls take them and bury them!
