King Felipe will attend the UN General Assembly. He will attend several events, including a speech at the assembly (Sept 21) and a meeting of the refugees high-level task force on Sep 19. He also meet President Obama.
No news on Letizia going with him.
Speaking of Letizia, she will attend on Sept 26 the "4º Punto de Encuentro contra el Desperdicio Alimentario/ Save food meeting", as FAO Special Ambassador for Nutrition.

Felipe watch season again.   Glad Felipe is not hiding in Zarzuela because of the terrible political situation in Spain. BTW, Letizia is going to receive in audience tomorrow the rare diseases association to talk about the world congress on rare diseases that is going to take place in Montevideo between September 19th and September 23rd. Does anyone know if Leti is going to attend?  |

Felipe is (maybe) traveling to New York for the UN General Assembly and to Colombia for the peace signing because the dates of both events aren't good for the acting president and his party and he needs to remain in Spain for electoral reasons. The government has completely obliterated his foreign agenda. He can't travel abroad on official business without their approval.

September 19-20: Felipe AND Letizia will go to New York for the UN Summit for Refugees and Migrants. It looks like they'll also attend the opening of the UN General Assembly the next day but Felipe won't speak for Spain (so the acting foreign minister will represent Spain)

Yesterday, TVE confirmed during "Audiencia Abierta" that Mauricio Macri (President of Argentina) was going to pay a work visit to Spain in February, by occasion of the ArCO fair  They also said Felipe was going to travel to the Iberoamerican Summit in October, in Cartagena. |
