It is very small.  Not very exciting.  No wonder why her veil looked awkward.  Very little you can do with such a small piece.  Spiteful

It's much prettier as a necklace than a tiara.

Agreed.  As a necklace it's quite lovely.  As a tiara it's quite puny.

I thought for sure she'd receive a new tiara with the birth of Izzy. Hmmm   Thinking

Very small tiara.  I could not see it against the veil.

I honestly think, shoshanah, the problem with her veil (the wings it seemed to have stemming out of the sides of her head) really was due to the lack of tiara size.

Who knows? There hasn't been a tiara event ever since...
However I wouldn't bet any M&M on it. And if the  necklace she received is any indication, she would have to shave her head bald for anybody to notice it....

Mary may not understand the concept you have to play nice to get goodies.  Frosty is not nice.  I hope Marie gets a really lovely Tiara when the time comes, gee I was hoping for a lovely engagement announcement.   Champagne

Mette-Marit's tiara wasn't big either but the way she placed it and how she placed her veil was gorgeous!

True, gp.  It did look lovely on MM.  Mary should have taken note.

Mary's veil covered her head like a milkmaid or nun.  If she wore the veil in the back of the head like MM did (and without the additional hair piece) the tiara would have stood out a bit more.

Claire's tiara even smaller than Mette marit's but I still find it better looking than Mary's tiara. I also think it has something to do with how she placed it  Thinking
