I was recently looking on some Instagram jewellery pages, and came across this beautiful floral tiara. It is called the Ancaster Heathcote Diamond Tiara, belonging to the British aristocratic Ancaster family, and worn by the-then Countess of Ancaster at the coronation of Edward VII in 1902. The most fascinating bit of information that I learned from the post was that the rose in the centre of the tiara was affixed to a sword belonging to the Duke of Perth, who fought at the Battle of Culloden in 1745, dying in combat fighting for the Stuarts.

This website has a very interesting overview, including when it was last worn publicly (if the page is up-to-date), and the current wearer of the tiara's charitable connections to the Duchess of Cambridge. To clear up any confusion about how the tiara comes to be associated with the Lord Great Chamberlain and the Cholmondeley family, I recommend looking at the wikipedia link too  Smiley

The Pink Spinel Tiara was acquired by Gerald Grosvenor, 6th Duke of Westminster for his bride in 1978.

I noticed that the Danes don't really have a big gun tiara...is Daisy's emerald tiara the largest one they have? And the ruby parure?

They don't have the Dutch/British big guns, but Daisy has some good size ones

I find the craftsmanship of the Nassut tiara stunning.

I also think it may be quite pretty on Maryís dark hair.  Secret

It's Daisy's personal tiara, so Yrma might be never able or allowed to wear it.

Beautiful, it's like it was made for her! And it's in keeping with the floral theme of her other tiaras.
