I really like how she wore the second tiara!  Looks very fresh and modern while still respecting the heritage of it.   Thumb up

Agreed! Plus I like it better design wise than the first one she wore.

The 1st is beautiful but slightly too large for her head, and the applique flowers on her hair only made it seem more oddly placed. But very stately

The second comes off more as a brooch as placed, and more modern.

I think they're both lovely in their own way.

Like her reception dress and tiara better than the ceremony ensemble. I hate all the poofy sleeves that are coming back in style.

Love the way she wears the vine leaves tiara, it always looks a little insufficient as a tiara so wearing it this way gets around that.

Gotta love that she managed to wear 2 tiaras from different royal families at one wedding.

It is amazing that Julie Montague did not see the tiara until an hour before her wedding occurred.

The Lacist tiara, by CHAUMET, is contained colourless yellow diamonds in white gold frame.

If they're colorless, how do they know they're yellow?  Pretty tiara, but it needs big hair behind it, not what the bride did.

Sorry it's my mistake, it should be written: The Lacis (not Lacist) tiara, by CHAUMET, is contained colourless and yellow diamonds in white gold frame.

I found news about the Cambridge tiara and the Spencer tiara. Princess Charlotte, daughter of duke and duchess of Cambridge, might get the two beautiful tiaras when she will be 18th (?)

1.Cambridge emerald tiara from the Queen

“The queen plans to hand down the exquisite Cambridge emerald tiara and matching necklace, which was a favorite of her own grandmother’s [Queen Mary of Teck] to Charlotte. Given she’s the princess of Cambridge, it seems only fitting given these jewels, which were fitted to the original Vladimir Tiara, can be traced back to the ownership of dukedoms of Cambridge's past,” the source said.

2. The Spencer tiara/ Diana's wedding tiara

“William is close with his uncle and has asked if his mother’s namesake tiara can be given to Charlotte someday,” tells the insider. “William is quite aware the earl has daughters of his own, but the two have agreed that Diana’s iconic piece belongs to her first granddaughter.”

Considering they’re quoting Women’s Day and No Idea I don’t believe this at all.

I highly doubt it, why would HM be deciding who is getting to wear what tiara when they turn 18 given, sadly, she herself will likely be long gone by then. Almost all HM's jewels are either part of the Royal Trust or will be given to Charles then William - sovereign to sovereign as this is free fo tax and keeps everything together.
Charlotte may well WEAR both of these tiaras at one time or another but the idea that HM and William are openly talking about it now is far fetched IMO.
