I think Mary was only outshined by Kate in the fashion department because Kate is the shiny new Princess and she's wearing bright attention-seeking red. Her coat was pretty but the belt and boots were awful. I definitely like Mary's better than Leti's mainly because Mary's is properly tailored. Leti looks like she threw a lab coat over her jammie's and called it a day.  Thumb down

she outshined her cuase while both ordinary looking one is a million times more famous. Mary didn't have any X factor to attract the canera back to her

and when she was interviewing  Fred intervene and embarrassed her

Mary will not make It on the international level even now when that video of the guy looking her her bust went viral she is unknown

^True in regards to international star power. Kate will always be more famous and have the upper-hand in that regard but I was speaking mainly about their fashion choices that day. My eye goes instantly to Kate because she is wearing bright red and Mary is wearing dark muted colors. Kate's outfit pops more but overall I think Mary's is nicer and more professional for the event. Kate's looks cheap and dated, she did have better hair though. Anything is better than looking at Fred. Good lord he was a disheveled wrinkled hot mess for that visit.

Her skirt style don't look best paired with the top style

Similar style to her top but paired with pencil skirt, they look much better

This kind of sleeves only emphasizes her big chunky upper-arms

The slit up the back of the dress was too high.

Agreed. And the dress is too short and her shoes are too high. She looks so uncomfortable walking about like that. What's the point of being there if you can barely walk? And why is she showing off those big horse legs? Some women over 40 can get away with wearing above the knee. But this fame whore/materialist isn't one of them.

I think the dress is very cool, and would be quite happy if my legs looked as great as Mary's.

Theoretically I think Mary is just fine, her figure is slim, her legs quite ok, her arms toned and her waist though not hourclass is slim and trim. It is just that she seems to consider herself the best thing since sliced bread that makes me critisize her entire look.
The dress is somewhat cute, I don't think it calls for such shoes, a lower heel and a more casual shoe would IMO look more fitting. But Mosh wouldn't be Mosh if her entire outfit was suddenly pulled together.
The first outfit is a classic Mary:
love the skirt, have always liked it a lot, but for crying out loud, how difficult can it be to find a top that matches the pale-sh black or grey toile pattern? The skirt is a powder rose, what makes anyone think it would look good with an off white top? In her position you'd expect a person to be more savvy to know how colours transport on photo, film and real life. And if black is too harsh and a powder rose would be too pale overall, get a pretty top dyed in a charcoal that matches or leave the skirt in the wardrobe.
The top is very pretty as well, where the heck is the matching pencil skirt? The top has such a 40's feeling, you can't wear a flared skirt. Imagine a matching off white skirt, or perhaps a navy one - with a matching hat in navy and white and perhaps two toned navy-offwhite shoes: divine...
