I had already in CP Mary posted the same, but forgot we have other Royals (other than Mary) that might also have a Lady In waiting, such as:

Belgium
Denmark
Great Britain
Japan
Jordan
Liechtenstein
Luxembourg
Moracco
Netherlands
Norway
Spain
Sweden

Please share what you know, and their duties, pay, prestige, etc.

QEII has of course her L-I-Ws but I don't know much about them (other than they have to be fluent in HM handbag-language) after I forced myself thru "At home with the Queen" I might be able to tell you more.
Norway, as far as I remember has a very modern way, the LIW here seems more a personal assistent and is in MMs case a cute looking guy, which can be seen in a couple of pix (sporting what else? a norwegian sweater...)
Holland also has liw but mostly for QB, Maxima often has a LIW of her MIL with her. I could however imagine, that she also is accompanied by a friend on longer trips (Kenia or South-America) whose help is somewhat similar like the LIW...

Anyone have any pictures or information of these LIW to various Crown Princess.  Do the Crown Prince also have the equivalent to LIW ?

Do you think that  the more visible ones ie Queen Rania, Lalla Salma, Queen Noor have personal assistants that accompany them on visits?

Rania has a PA, she's been seen out with her shopping a few times, not sure about Lalla Salma though. The whole concept of a L-I-W is a very Western one.

There was an interesting article about Rania which described her personal staff as such,

"In these, her personal offices, the queen has surrounded herself, (making a socio-statement of sorts?) with smart young women, impeccably dressed in dark business skirts and power trouser suits, destroying every stereotype and preconceived notion that I may have formed of the Arab woman."

Considering that Lalla Salma is the first Morroccan Consort to have a public role, will she have a group of female aides ie: Queen Rania?

I assume Salma must have a PA of some kind. However she's not very active in terms of public duties and she actually does very little, so she doesn't really need a large number of aides.

In Imperial Japan before World War II, official ladies-in-waiting traditionally could serve as concubines (additional wives or consorts) for the Emperor. If the Empress failed to produce a male heir that survived long enough to succeed the Emperor, then the Emperor’s son by one of the official ladies-in-waiting could be named his heir and would be adopted by his wife. In 1901, when then-Crown Princess Sadako gave birth to a son, the future Emperor Hirohito, she was the first official wife of a Crown Prince or Emperor to do so since 1720. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady-in-waiting

I remember seeing Anne Beckwith-Smith in old photos. I didn't realize that Diana's sister, Lady Sarah was a part-time L-I-W.
