Royal bridesmaids and flowergirls as a tradition always wear white.

You know, they didn't. The tradition to wear white (in Europe) was started by Queen Vicky. Before her, everyone wore wot ever colour they fancied, or was their cultural custom.

Now, this white wearing is has become the norm across east and west.
