I´m not prudish, but I dislike décolletage for a church like at Pippa.

And that she wore white is just a proof for me that it is a Pippa promo to have a rich&noble guy.

Well I am thinking Pippa’s dress was one of the best PR stunt’s of all time for a royal wedding.
There is no way Pippa would have gotten to wear it without the BRF and Kate seeing it and approving of it.
Kate was limited as to what she could wear. her dress or something similar hangs on every “Off the rack” bridal gown store that I have ever been in.
Wearing something slinky and sexy looking was out of the question for the future “Queen Of England” nor could she have outdone Diana’s dress but every time I see Pippa’s dress it immediately brings to mind Kate’s demure dress.
The same can’t be said for any of the recent royal brides, even Mary’s hideous gown (looks like my Granny’s doona cover) I had to look up on the net to refresh my memory of.
For ever more when I see a copy of Pippa’s dress I will be reminded of Wills and Kate, guess they paid top dollar for advice and thet is what they got

I'm surprised no one has raised the issue of Tatiana and Nick's bridesmaids in their "octopus' garden" dresses.

I'm one of the only ones, but I actually thought those dresses were pretty.   A little too sparkly for me to want to use them at my own wedding, but I certainly wouldn't call them a faux pas.

The Tatiana/Niko bridesmaid dresses were so awful I thought someone was posting those photos as a joke when I first saw them! 

Especially since they were posing like Vegas showgirls.....!!

A few thoughts:

Pippa's dress was probably redesigned at the last minute to try and divert attention from the fugly Eugenie outfit and the fallopian tube hat of Beatrice.

Tatiana's bridesmaids I believe were an attempt to be a whimsical take on the Mamma Mia movie.  Instead it became the tackiest event from a royal wedding ever IMO.  Those dresses and the tacky posing were worse than the Yorks at Will & Kate's bash, Zara's tan lines at her brother's wedding, Anne wearing the outfit from Charles and Di's wedding to Lady Rose Gilman's wedding (although her figure has held up well), Mabel's bows, and even Mary's smug bitchy milkmaid.
