Quite well. She and Joachim seems to speak a lot of French together (obviously) but she is quite good at Danish. It seems to come quite naturally to her.

I also think she sounds good. The video of her at the LIFE faculty, inaugurating a new hospital for animals is a good example. She seemed relaxed and comfortable, also during the chit-chat, which seems to terrify Mary.

I haven't heard Marie speak more than one or two sentences.
I think we will have to wait and see.

Found this: http://www.b.dk/tv/16853Sounds good, a bit slow with a very soft voice but clear! It is easy to understand her, even if she dosenīt say many sentences in this video, but you will get a grip! From 17-3-2011.

Thanks Now I have heard 4 sentences from Marie. 1 before in the 11 hour documentary and now 3 more. She is saying "I love animals", "I have always loved animals" "I have two animals at home". The rest I couldn't hear. I'm a big animal lover myself.

I'll say she was focused. Never left the subject in the 3 seconds the conversation lasted.

I had to re-post hanzo's great find in her thread, because it is too funny: http://royaldish.com/inde...10211.msg424365#msg424365Crown Princess Mary will now speak as well as Danish Princess Marie.
Marie gained a lot of compliments when she told in nearly flawless Danish about her daughter, when the mother and child were discharged from University Hospital.
Now there is every indication that Mary will not be outdone in the popularity contest with his sister. When she arrived at fashion week two days ago, a peek into the pocket at the door unveiled that she has always a Danish-English dictionary with her so she can look up the massive, Danish words, that she still struggles with. Mary has been ten years in the country and may still find herself overtaken by Mariehttp://ekstrabladet.dk/fl...gelige/article1702095.ece
