I actually love Beatrice in that warm dusky coral colour. Thumb up
It blends well with her warm skin and hair.
The shoes are the right colour - black would have jarred and appeared too stark for the soft look.
I like the more mature but frilly shape.  It suits the lively formality of Ascot.
Beatrice has been looking nice this year, as has her little sister.

This. so bad one of the worst outfits I have ever seen

The color, the fussy design, the tacky bling, the tacky shoes, the unflattering cut, the inability to look normal

EPIC FAIL

I agree, it's worse than the biege/brown frock she wore to the Willy/Waity wedding.

The worst parts of it for me were:
Colour - clashes very badly with her hair
Shoe colour - takes the clashing colours further still
Diagonal row of buttons/rivets on skirt - cheapens the look, unnecessary, distracting.

Without the buttons, and in a colour like navy, biege or white, with matching shoes, this could have worked.

She has been improving lately... I don't know what got into her this time.  She needs to question the advice she is getting, and seek out second and third opinions.  Or wear neutrals every day like Sophie.  Boring, but safe.

This is the only outfit that she wore that I thought was chic, sleek and modern I don't even mind the hat

It's something I would wear all went (back) downhill ever since IMO

maybe she fired her ultra expensive stylist? I think she's back dressing herself these days but she thinks she gets It this time
I don't think she needs to invest so much in her wardrobe but If she does at least don't look so bad
I also think she barely recyle and keeps buying really expansive brands  Crap

The peach number she wore at Ascot looked like something Dolly Parton would wear.

But the curls, recalls her mother.  Her hair is very pretty, but to wear frankfurter curls while trying to be stylish doesn't work at all, imho

WOW! Bea looks beautiful in Elie Saab. Ugh...the Yorkies are growing on me. I may actually end up liking them soon. I REFUSE to come around to their scummy parents though.  Dead

Princess Beatrice-In Erdem

Princess Beatrice came over a bit too matchy matchy at Royal Ascot 2012, teaming her Erdem dress with a red Christian Louboutin silk bag,
YSL cream stilettos and a hat by Noel Steward.(w.styleitligh)

Thumb up Thumb up  I do too! I think they get such a bad rap from their awful parents, but that isn't their fault. Regardless of their sometimes whacked-out fashion sense (hey, at least they take chances *coughWaitycough*), I think they are both adorable and it is my most fervent (royal) hope that Bea marries her cute wee beau NOW, he lavishes public affection on her and they have adorable ginger twins before Waity-Willy can have a baby. And then Bea becomes a media darling and gets tons of press fawning over her twins while skeletor Waity and Willy look on, crying from the sidelines. It could happen, right?

The Princess is back on Huffington Post's Best Dressed List!

http://www.huffingtonpost...le=Princess_Beatrice_Wins

Like everyone else, I could not understand the toilet bowl hat she wore to W &W's wedding until I heard about the bad feelings/feud between the York girls and Waity. Now I think Bea wore it knowing that it would garner as much or more attention than the bride and annoy Kate to no end.
And she was right!!!    Yay, Bea!!
