MM's is my favorite too.  I think Grace Kelly's dress is beautiful, but only because it was on Grace.  That woman would have made a potato sack look great.

No one like Diana's dress??  I'm shocked.   Laughing

I think the Emanuelles should have been thrown out of the designer world.  Even that black engagement dress they made for Diana was awful.  Poor thing, at 19, what did she know?

1) MM's by faaaaar, other ones really cannot come close to it. With that dress, I can forgive the noodle-bouquet (although, I somehow like it, because it was dramatically different than others)

2) Alejandra de Bourbon (uniquely different)

Thanks, for posting. PeDe.  Star Mette Marit and Alejandra de Bourbon are also my two favorite royal brides. They both went for something unique and different, and manage to pull it off. (Marit Mette's wedding gown was different for a royal bride) They both looked amazing.

I thought Catherine looked wonderful.

This may not make me popular but I always thought that Grace looked like she was wearing a loo roll holder. Dead

I wasn't even wild about Mary's dress.

I still think that the Queens was truly beautiful as was Margarets.

And Princess Annes first dress.

My all-time favorite: M-M, by a mile. Perfect, all-time classic. Jumping

Also like: QEII, Princess Anne (I love the medieval style), Crazy Marty (same reason as Anne), Sarah Armstrong-Jones Grin

Vickan's was too plain for my taste, but it looked great on her. Roll Eyes

Didn't like: Maxima's, Margaret's Thumb down

I think Mary's might have been nice if it had actually FIT her... Yikes

Kate's  train was lovely; the construction of the train was was perfect.

MM's dress was the best of the latest batch IMO. Alex's dress was beautiful too and very her.

Alex's dress was very much a "Fairytale Princess" fantasy dress. I loved Joachim and Alex's wedding.

Me too. It was so beautiful.

I loved M-M's of the current CP batch. The dress was beautiful and it suited her completely.

MM's dress is wonderful.
Also like: Máxima (it had to be a very decent dress, because the first pictures and movies about Máxima published in the Netherlands were quite sexy, with Máx in a white mini-dress etc), Sarah Armstrong Jones, Victoria.
Dislike: Marie, Mary (what a mess), Letizia (the dress was too big for her).

Best
MM - I adore the dress, wish she wore more makeup at her wedding
Serena, Viscountess Linley - a perfect floaty fairytale ballgown
Kate - the best proportioned and tailored wedding dress of them all
Vicky - safe but beautiful, perfect for her personality and figure

Worst
Mary - panels = something you assemble from IKEA/beautiful neckline
Sophie Winkleman - waaaaay too white and shiny!
Countess Sophie - the huge shoulder pads are nasty
Princess Anne - her wedding dress had a turtleneck

Best:

BonBon
Kate
Daisy
Princess Astrid of Norway (she's too minor to be talked about much but her dress just might be my all-time favorite; here's some pictures)

Awful:

Could it be any worse than Mabel's?
I know a lot of you thought Nathalie looked beautiful; but I thought her dress was kind of ugly
It's not horrible, but I've always found Anne-Marie's rather dull, especially when you consider what a big deal her wedding was at the time

Astrid is never too minor here  Wink
I would like to minimize the position of certain other Royals  Whistle

Her dress reminds me a little bit of the Queens dress.  Thinking

And some royals are more minor than they appear in their own minds.

So far, my favourite royal wedding gowns have been those of Queen Fabiola and Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon.  Also, the British queen wore a beautiful train but I did not like the dress.

I like CP Victoria's simple and elegant dress. It's the loveliest and most regal of all. Thumb up
