if you google goji you come up with lots of information.
This plant/bush (like a blueberry bush) claims 2oz per day of the juice helps with:  cholesterol, blood preasure, heart, antioxidant, insomnia, diabetes, eye problems, psoriasis, allergies, liver problems, tuberculosis, cleanse blood, prostate enlargement, cervical cancer to name a few.................is this too good to be true.
    I found a web-site (finally)
timpanogosnursery/.com/site/928760/page45031.    and a toll free #1-800-822-6164 in the USA
They also offer live plants for sale.
I am thinking of buying a few of these plants/shrubs.  They (the parent plant) comes from Tibet.  Even if they are full of bunk the plants look pretty and (I e-mailed them for my zone-conditions) they would make a nice addition to my garden.  You do have to put a net (like a bridal veil--can get the material in a fabric store) to keep the wasps and birds away from the fruit.
But what else is this "nursery" going to tell me----after all they are in the business of shipping plants.
Just might give them a try------------------I'm still thinking about this.
The "berry" juice is rather expensive.
Have any of you ever heard of   goji-berry  juice/plants (coming from Tibet)  Huh?Huh?

Yes, I know someone here in Melbourne who sells the juice. Great claims are made for it but I don't know how much has been proven scientifically.

Thanks Jane, I just heard of this drink at breakfast.  A very close friends sister has lukemia and she tried this "juice" for 2-weeks....her Doctor is totaly flabbergested with her blood cell count.  She is NOT cured (by any means) but their is a marked, very significany improvement in her cell count.  Her husband has very high blood preasure & very high cholesterol and diabetes----he also has had an unusual decrease in the severety of these problems.
The Doctor has suggested they both go off this GOJI berry drink for 2-weeks and be re-tested.

I must say if they become cured the Doctor will be out Mega Bucks for treating them.

Its interesting for sure.  At this point I think I will purchase this GOJI berry juice as an antioxidant, hope for the best, and expect nothing more.  But the plants/bush/shrub are pretty so I may go ahead and just purchase them.
But if anyone else has information on this, please tell us-------------

Jane, thanks for the article....................as I said , or should have said...if its too good to be true, its probably not.  I'll try "a" bottle mostly for the antioxidants, and "if" something wonderful happens I will be the first to shout...but I rather doubt any plant/berry is that wonderful or the government/governments of the world would have killed the plant long ago, so we would all have to have huge medical costs on treatments and not cures.I'll keep you all informed.................but you probably will have to remind me, after all this is also a memory berry.......yaaa  sure !

Well I went ahead and purchased a 1ltr bottle of this goji juice ($35.00USD), actually it does have a very good taste.  So right now I'm even more sceptical.  I figured if it taste really bad it would probably be good for you, so seeing I actually liked the taste --- we'll see.  And, I can give it to our Shelty who has a very very tiny liver and gets sick at the drop of a hat.  I'll try giving her a taste tonight, if nothing else the antioxidants will certainly help her, she only 8.5pounds, so she is really small for a Shelty....but she is perfect in every way except for her liver.

Folks, don't spend your money on goji. It's a con in the sense that it's WAY overpriced and watered down.

Any positive effects are likely to be placebo. Just as good are pomegranate juice, quince paste, blood plum paste, muscatel grapes, sour cherries and any dark red fruit, combined with black tea, green tea and very, very high quality very dark chocolate (not all together!). For the price of goji you would get all of the above and more.

There's simply nothing unique about goji, and the dried version tastes awful.

I've observed in shopping trolleys people buying goji along with coke, ciggies and really bad food. No point buying goji if you aren't eating six serves of veges and three serves of fruit every single day!

When we finish off these bottles of juice, we are going back to old-fashioned Orange Juice.  We eat a lot of fresh veggies (raw or semi-steamed raw), I try and put fruit in our salads (we certainly do not eat enough fresh fruit), and if I see any more chicken i'm going to go nuts----I think I know how to make chicken 900-different ways.
For my birthday dinner I am NOT going to have chicken.  Fish is always frozen (where we live) and I will not eat stream/river/creek fresh water fish, so that limits a lot of fish.
Sushi-grade tuna and salmon (is always frozen) and we do eat that sometimes.

Try Alpha Lipoic Acid (pill).  Tested and true.  And cheaper.   I've been taking it for a year...just in case...cancer runs in my family.
