Willys and Waitys wedding

Kate looks so incredibly stiff, rigid and plastic.  She is standing ram rod straight, her arm curved at an exact angle and her hand placed very precise on Will's arm.   It's almost comical.

An older picture, wedding of Infanta Isabel Alfonsa of Spain in 1929, Madrid:

It's a bit of "Where's Waldo" to spot the bride, with all these veils and mantillas! Laugh bounce

Thanks for the pics  Star

My word, Elissa, I was thinking the same thing.... Thinking where's the bride?  Star  Laugh bounce Laugh bounce

Kate's stiffness is the creepiest thing in that photo...she looks like a Barbie doll, the way she's standing.

On the other hand, at least everyone there is looking at the camera - I'm struck by how many royals are looking elsewhere in these group photos, for instance Daisy and the Dame at the beginning of this thread.  Even the bride wasn't looking at the camera.  Harald and Sonja's is somewhat the same way:

Princess Herzeleide (what a great name!  Wink) and Karl Biron, Prince of Courland. She was the only daughter of Prince Oskar of Prussia, younger son of Emperor Wilhelm II, and his wife Countess Ina Marie von Bassewitz.

The really nice thing about ML's photo, just above, is that the photographer used risers, so you can pretty well see everyone.

I love the idea of a wibter wedding, but don't so much care for that poofy dress.

Princess Elizabeth above is the only female without flowers

So do I. Sarah Chatto's is one of my favorite and I loved her bridesmaid's dresses as well. Everything looked so romantic.
