I wondered what happend to catalogue model Iben Detlef.

Joachim dated her for several years until he called her from Hong Kong and ended the relation.

Quite nice looking. Very tall blond.

Yes. He called her from Hong Kong and broke up on the phone. A bit mean, I guess, but also the proper thing to do (just compare to Fred!) She cried to Billed bladet about it.

Joachim ended his 5 year relation with Iben Detlefs in march 1995. Already in mai - 2 months after -he announced the engagement with Alexandra Manley.

I think it would have ended between them anyway since Margethe has that thing about Danish girls. I don't know if Iben was aware of that. According to Trine that played a part. IMO the bad guy is - again - Margrethe.

To be fair, she seemed really devastated when he broke up with her, maybe she really loved him for himself (strange taste...). It must have been hard for her to see Alexandra´s face on covers of magazines for years.
I remember that she wasn´t a rich girl and when they attended big parties, she made her own clothes - and looked stunning in them. I was very impressed with that.
