I must confess she is *by far* my favorite of the BRF. I admire her great devotion to her causes, her dedication to serving the interests of the Crown/QEII, and her complete indifference to what people think of how she looks. I think she would make a MUCH better sovereign than any of her worthless/spoiled/stupid brothers. I would love to know what she really thinks of her nieces Bea/Eugenie, as well as her thoughts on Camilla and Waity.

She also seems to be a good, sensible mother, raising Peter and Zara to be (apparently) normal, hard-working people unimpressed with their status despite the immense privilege and goldfish bowl they were born into. Mark Philips must deserve credit for this as well.

Diana Again, do you have any opinions re Princess Anne? If so, I'd be extremely interested in hearing them.

Anyway, since Chelsy has her own thread Blush and Pippa has several , I thought Anne deserved one.

I like her a lot too - she actually do real duties, even if her fashion sense is not the greatest one.
The only "scandal"concerning her I ever read was about who really is Zara's father, in Nicholas Davies's book about QEII.

Princess Anne is her father's favorite it is said.  She never ever got the attention that Diana got, because she's not glamorous, and doesn't like to use the media, but she did more charity work than Diana from what I hear.  I heard she's not the easiest person to get along with and wants all royal protocol for herself, but not for her children, which is odd.  She lacks charisma too, which again, along with the missing glamour, you don't hear much about her.  However, she works hard for her causes/charities, and she must be respected for that.  I suppose the divorce she had was her biggest scandal, but I  don't know the details.
