Maybe Anne and Sophie coordinated their fetching headgear.

Sigh. Sophie, girl, lose that style of hat. Louise looks nice, is that a new coat or one of Sophie's? Anne looks smart.

It appears the DoY has left or was purposely told to stay home . . .

Cams must be off, as usual, having Christmas with her children. Wonder how that will play out when Charles is King? Will they be invited to spend Christmas with the royal family? Perhaps they won't want to.

The Yorks usually leave after the Christmas Message to go to Sarah - just as Camilla leaves to go to her children and grandchildren.

What is unusual is that Charles is still there as he normally has gone to Scotland by now, where he stays for New Year and all of January. Camilla normally joins him there for New Year.

Perhaps I should not find the fact that Charles does not spend any part of the holiday season with Camilla's family at the house he maintains seperately for her (Ray Mill) to be strange, but I find it odd, as he has known them since birth and C and C have been married a decade. If he spends absolutely no time with her family now, what makes anyone think he would invite them to 'the big house' after he inherits?

Charles does spend time with Camilla's family - just not over Christmas. They regularly stay with Charles and Camilla when they are in Scotland for instance especially around Easter and over the summer - when there is no media coverage of Charles.

Sorry Liz, but a yellow straw hat in December looks very unseasonal.

Louise and Anne look great and true to their own styles and personalities.

On Christmas Eve at Sandringham King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra distributed joints of beef and other substantial foodstuffs to the labourers, workmen, and cottagers on the Sandringham Estate. In addition, gifts such as warm garments, toys, and other useful items were sent around to the cottages.
