Princess Anne is Prince Phillip in a skirt.

Oh please, oh please, let there be a photo of them play-acting with Prince Philip in a skirt!

I guess you can find sufficient pictures of Philip in a kilt. Wink

"The Princess Royal Presents the Queen Elizabeth II Award at London Fashion Week"
https://www.vogue.com/art...rd-alighieri-rosh-mahtani

"Dressed in a neat kelly green suit, Princess Anne was in attendance to present the award alongside Stephanie Phair and Caroline Rush of the British Fashion Council. In her address, the Princess Royal acknowledged the impact of jewelry design on the British fashion landscape and the tradition of jewelry manufacturing that is still very much alive in the surrounding area, known as Hatton Garden, where Mahtani produces her designs."

That's a nice color on Anne and she has such a nice complexion/skin. Also, I can see Anne being someone who just dyes her hair using a box of Clairol and doesn't care who knows it.  Laugh bounce

Well, they say things come in threes.  First the collapse of the Phillips' marriage, then the Snowdens ... now Anne's?

There's been rumblings about them for years. For a long stretch they weren't seen together at all, then when people started mentioning it Tim started showing up at events again. Wouldn't shock me, especially the way this year is going.

Hmmm I'm not so sure about Anne and Tim. I wouldn't be 100% surprised if the divorced but thats just because of the rumours.

I wonder if the rumours don't stem from the fact Anne is the only working blood Princess (bar Alexandra who is a widow), we don't see Anne and Tim much together but then he does have a job (or indeed several if you include sitting on Boards etc) and is not an official working member of the RF unlike Anne's sisters-in-laws are/have been or indeed her nieces-in-law.

The fact they still go sailing around the Scottish islands just the two of them for weeks on end suggests to me their relationship is stronger than we might think, how many  couples could cope with that.

TBH both Anne and Tim have such a strong sense of duty and respect for the Crown and ER I can't see them divorcing anytime soon as, even if their marriage was in trouble, they know it would pile on the pressure for HM and Philip.

I like Anne, so I donít want to appear snarky. However, furs, jewels, stylists and air brushing can make any woman beautiful.

True, but Anne was quite a dish back in the day and airbrushing wasn't as prolific in the 70s as it is today.

No airbrushing, no furs, tiara and very little makeup. Black and white photo to boot.

I think a divorce is not useful for either of them: The English upper class is rather small and close knit. They seem to be getting on enough to keep pretending. For her a second divorce would not look great and he would loose a lot of perks. I think it is pragmatism that keeps them together.

Not sure if this documentary on Anne has been posted on RD before but I came across it on the RoyalChatter forum:
