I have to agree with DoV on the white in formal occasions. After a certain age, it doesn’t look good. (Unless you are Viola Davis and you can wear white forever!)

Casual summer white like linens and sundresses, white is great.

And seriously, the outfit must support the jewels.  Drool

Very true, especially for caucasians. The skin gets lighter as we age, and as our hair also gets lighter we can change from high contrast coloring (dark hair/lighter skin) to low contrast (monotone hair and skin). High contrast can allow you to wear a much wider range of shades, although I never looked very good in white. Regardless of age, I think you can still wear white if you want to, but it looks better away from the face or you might look washed out.

White never looked good on me and I'm not that old.

What colors look good on you has less to do with age and more to do with your color palette.  As AB said, as people age their color palette changes do to skin and hair changes.  Best anyone can do is to know their personal color palette.

Only Anne could rock a monogrammed mask!

Princess Anne is really one of my faves of the BRF. Always well dressed and sophisticated

Indeed! Anne is great, but she looks tired in the picture; I hope all is well with her and her family.

She’s probably carrying most of the royal load by herself now.

Cambridge’s are great, but they do have 3 young kids.

Royal, but understated. Very very Anne.

It would be lovely for all the royal ladies to have masks like that.

Charles is doing quite a lot (more than Anne by some distance so far this year) and the Wessex's are also doing quite a lot.

I love the personalized mask, I would totally wear something like that if I was a Royal.  Maybe we'll see Charles with a mask with the POW feathers on it at some point.

Finally saw her biography the other night.  What impressed me is how she asked to to school realizing she wasn’t going to learn much from a Governess.  No doubt she had special treatment but still she had the foresight to recognize going to school was a good thing
