The photo is from 2011, so it's an attempt by the newspaper involved to "imagine" Kate at her hen night. It's quite common in the UK to see hen nights on a Saturday night, and the bride is invariably in a "comedy" veil and wearing L plates, which, as other posters have said, indicates "learner".

That does make sense.  The puffiness and hormones.  My guess is she is probably back smoking again to kill her appetite so she can be skeletal.  But, we'll probably never know for sure.

Oh, I think we'll know. I think it's a tide waiting to turn against both William and Kate... all that's needed is a great final push, and then very quickly ALL the previously concealed issues in the marriage will suddenly be aired out for the world to see. It was the same during the War of the Wales'. I think Kate and her mother will want to get very nasty, and that the palace has always been readying itself to fight back in equal or greater measure.

The recent articles from varying camps regarding who is the better parent gives me the impression that this scenario is looming nearer on the verge of possibility. And to be honest, I think I look forward to that day; it'll be the day that Kate and her family (and especially William) have long been deserving.

Winnifred, I'm looking forward to it as well.  This whole marriage has been building to it.  Look at their record dating  If William had found someone else who would have given him a go Kate would be taking pictures of Party Pieces catalog items.  But because he's William the Difficult, William the Spoiled, William the Whiny, no one except Kate was willing to put up with him.  And I honestly wonder how much of that was her truly wanting to be his doormat for life or Carole wanting to be the royal mother-in-law/grandmother or a combination of the two.  It's pretty obvious Kate hasn't got a lick of self-respect or she wouldn't have turned herself out like she did to win him back in 2007.  How many people would go back to someone that they heard stood on a table and yelled "I'm free!"   Rolling over like that makes me question everything she does and the motives behind it.

Personally, I've got my popcorn ready for the soap opera to begin.  It will definitely be enlightening as I don't see it playing out with Kate slinking quietly off into the sunset.

plenty of women marry men and put up w/ a lot even though they knew what they were like before they married them.  so kate certainly isn't the first nor the last to do so.  and women do it for men w/ money/status as well as men who are just normal blokes.  so guess there are many women in the world who don't have a lick of self-respect.  her story isn't anything new or surprising...my friend just got divorced after 28 yrs. of marriage and two kids 'cause she couldn't take it anymore with her selfish, controlling and narcissitic (sp?)husband.  don't know why she took that long, but she did.  people stay for so many reasons.  it's sad, but it happens...

It's very good that your friend decided to start living her life in a more healthy way. Good for her! Never easy to break up with someone, in particular when you spent so many years with that person.

Btw I want to take the time to wish everyone here in this forum a Happy 2016! And that we have a great year dishing about our fave royals.   Champagne

My sneakers look pretty dirty, too. Of course I'm not defending her! I just don't have cleaning them as one of my priorities. Maybe if I was like her and only had to worry about my hair, eyeliner, and shopping I would have time to clean them up a bit

So Kate rewarded herself and went shopping after "working" and having a few pictures taken.  Why am I not surprised?
But really, Lululemon? Overpriced workout clothes. There are dozens of places to get good workout clothes at more reasonable prices.

Pssst Kate...a damp rag will clean those shoes up nicely.

Well, matter of fact is that SHE does not have to clean them. She can order a housemaid to do that.

Given that the shoes obviously were stored at KP, they may be in that condition since they were last used for a jogging in the park some months ago (or whenever she last stayed in KP ... she doesn't come to London so often ...).
And that's just incredible. Who'd put shoes as dirty as these back to the shelf without cleaning them?

And even if ... who'd put on shoes as dirty as these to go shopping without cleaning them ar least now?

Plus the training leggings. It's not that she came straight out of the gym. She's wearing them with a nice woolen sweater and a super expensive jacket. And maybe thinks that's a cool outfit.

Honestly, there's only one grown woman which comes to my mind wearing leggings as her everyday outfit ... and that is Peggy Bundy from Married with Children.
