I love shopping in Waitrose. It’s nice to see her shopping herself and loading the car herself, instead of having staff do it. There are lots of royals I think would do that. Smiley

Three thoughts:

1) So the woman who took the pictures "wishes to remain anonymous" - you bet.
Picturing someone without consent from behind or side is shit already. Sharing such pics on social media is one point shittier (and we don't know if she did really).
But giving the pics straight to Daily Fail (maybe even selling them?) is really gross.

2) So the guy in the blue jacket is her RPO. I understand he may not help her as he must be always on guard and ready to pull his gun or whatever. But standing there, with hands in the jeans pockets, and just watching how she's loading the car ... well, this does not look like a guy "on guard". It rather makes him look like a real idiot and macho.

3) Pregnant Kate does shopping. Yeah. Super interesting news. I did, too, today.

She looks good! It's nice to see her out and about, like the time around the announcement of Harry's engagement I think, when she was driving her car, wearing that plaid coat and having her hair up in a ponytail. She was so herself, relaxed, a person I would like to talk to.

I love her coat! Random question - she was in Windsor the day before at Easter service. It sounds silly but I wonder how she got back to Norfolk. A three hour drive after the church service? Helicopter? Train?

Maybe she wanted to load the items herself into the car (although pregnant, I would have appreciated the help), or maybe security dude is not allowed to help her. Sometimes doing ordinary things by oneself and getting away is itself a respite.

I love the rose coat. Good for her. Why not?

If a rando in the public really took and shared these pictures, how awful. No wonder royals and the famous get edgy about stalkers and weirdos. It seems harmless but disquieting, nonetheless.

When they lived on Anglesey they managed to "borrow" helicopters from friends to travel in rather than drive. I'm sure they do the same now and travel by helicopter as often as possible.

The woman just happened upon Kate in the store; I get that it is possible. However, did she hang out waiting for Kate to finish so she could get more pictures outside?  Kind of creepy.

I get that the RPO is not there to help Kate; he is there to protect her but seems he is a bit negligent since he didn't see the woman taking pictures with her phone.  Not too observant is he?

Well it's a 2 and half hour drive from London to their part of Norfolk and the traffic on the M11 (motorway) wasn't too bad on Sunday. Their local Waitrose is in Swaffam...about 30 min from Amer Hall

But

Is it REALLY her?? Really?? I don't think so. Daily Fail are great at doing these 'mock-ups' using look alikes. Or somebody else has set this up. Doesn't look like her at the car.

Well, in the last pic (where she's kinda grimacing at the RPO), it does absolutely not look like her, that is right.

Maybe they (the KP? the BP? ) are thinking that constant complaints about being photographed and the whole privacy thing it's bad for their pr and maybe they were exaggerate, so they decided to allow photos taken by random people in public?
Truth is that any member of any royal family could not go to the market wearing an old jumpsuit or a loose sweater, and a messy bun on the head. That puts quite a pressure for a matter that would be minor in any other case.

Creepy of someone to sell them to the DM. Leave her alone, jeez. I do think it's good PR, look how normal we are stuff, their usual, so I doubt they'll send the lawyers.

Of course they used helos to get back from Windsor...they always do! Too difficult to drive 3 hours, I guess? Or take the train! Not like they lived in Anglesey really, not like their PR said they did. I guess they still spend time at Anmer on weekends and the kids' holidays when they're not at Bucklebury Manor?

That was my thought, too - is it really her? Seems weird to me, and also, like others have said, why didn’t the RPO question the lady taking pics?

If it is her then good for her..... nice to think she said hello to the woman too.

Their RPOs have a history of chewing people out who have even just been looking at their phones, like at polo matches, as if they were taking pictures. Wonder why this was allowed, too. I find that interesting considering their usual strops to people about their privacy.
