The Rosenborgs are Counts and Countesses of Rosenborg - Danish princes who marry without consent of the Danish monarch lose their dynastic rights, including royal title.

The ex-dynasts are then usually accorded the hereditary title "Count of Rosenborg". They, their wives, and their legitimate male-line descendants are:

Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg (The Queen's cousin and his wife)
Count Christian and Countess Anne-Dorthe of Rosenborg (The Queen's cousin and his wife)
Countess Camilla, Countess Josephine, and Countess Feodora of Rosenborg (Count Christian's daughters)
Count Ulrik and Countess Tove of Rosenborg (The Queen's second cousin and his wife)
Count Philip of Rosenborg (Count Ulrik's son)
Countess Katharina of Rosenborg (Count Ulrik's daughter)
Countess Charlotte of Rosenborg (The Queen's second cousin)
Count Axel and Countess Jutta of Rosenborg (Count Flemming's son and his wife)
Count Carl Johan and Count Alexander of Rosenborg (Count Axel's sons)
Countess Julie and Countess Désirée of Rosenborg (Count Axel's daughters)
Count Birger and Countess Lynne of Rosenborg (Count Flemming's son and his wife)
Countess Benedikte of Rosenborg (Count Birger's daughter)
Count Carl Johan and Countess Colette of Rosenborg (Count Flemming's son and his wife)
Countess Caroline and Countess Josefine of Rosenborg (Count Carl Johan's daughters)
Countess Désirée of Rosenborg (Count Flemming's daughter)
Countess Karin of Rosenborg (Widow of Count Christian, third cousin of the Queen)
Count Valdemar of Rosenborg (Count Christian's son)
Count Nicolai of Rosenborg (Count Valdemar's son)
Countess Marie of Rosenborg (Count Valdemar's daughter)
Countess Marina of Rosenborg (Count Christian's daughter)

Countess Camilla (eldest twin) could perhaps have been the heir to the throne if female succession was not implemented in favor of QMII but had been implemented at the birth of Camilla.

Pure speculations but funny - what if  Grin

Here is Camilla

And here is one of my favorites Countess Marina

Well, what kind of perks and bennies do these guys get? Invites to royal affairs? Invites go to those who are in favor or how does it work? Do they have any jewels? What is special about their lives? I guess they might have some good connections, hmmmm.

I think the Rosenborgs are quite different people.

Marina is a scientist and her just as good looking brother Valdemar has a really great career as I recall. They are often invited to royal occasions.

Camilla and her husbond sells some sort of plastic cigarettes to stop smoking. Should be very effective.

Camilla and her twinsister appears sometimes in tv par example about being af twin.

Marina is not in line.  As you mentioned above, Danish princes who marry without consent lose their dynastic rights, and so do all of their descendants.

950,000 Kroner for Christmas Seal

The amount that goes to the four Christmas Seal, was presented by Julemærkemarchens patrons Countess Sussie and Count Ingolf of Rosenborg and Chairman Ingolf Romlund the Christmas Seal Foundation's new President Hans Erik Nielsen. He thanked, on behalf of all children and adults in the four Christmas Seal and stressed the importance of the annual Christmas Seal March, which now has over 18,000 participants and 63 starting locations across the country.

Seal The march is a good tradition, and the many participants who are 5 or 10 km, is helping to ensure the impressive profits. Presentation of donation from the Christmas Seal March took place at a festive event at Julemærkehjemmet in Skælskør, and the picture shows from left Ingolf Romlund, Countess Sussie, Count Ingolf and Hans Erik Nielsen.

Christmas Seal
Each year, the four Christmas Seal helps approx. 700 children aged 6 to 14 years to a better life. Our relief work has always reflected the needs of society, and today the majority of children are overweight. But obesity is not alone. Most kids are bullied and disenfranchised community, and many have never had a friend. We meet children who do not believe in themselves and live an isolated and unhappy lives. It makes Christmas Seal Mene addressed.

It's not every day you see members of the royal family in tyrolercostumes ...

But that was exactly the case when the Countess Camilla af Rosenborg Saturday evening celebrated her and her husband Michael Rosanes joint 100th birthday. 40 years is certainly no age. Michael celebrated his 60th birthday in February, and instead of a party there, they took the whole family to Sri Lanka. Today (Saturday, ed.)
- "We celebrate so both of us, which we have invited the closest friends to the 100 th birthday", told Countess Camilla af Rosenborg Saturday evening shortly before the big party started.

The party was held at tyrolerstedet Edelweiss in central Copenhagen. And so were the hosts for women dressed in tyrolerkostumer with puff sleeves, meatballs by the ears and crinolines in bright colors. Not even the three komtessers men had left the possibility of pulling the lederhosen and tyrolerhat pass by.

60 years birthday Mikael Rosanes was an unforgettable sight in green shirt, green tyrolerhat and lederhoserne, while the Countess Josephine's (who is the twin sister of Camilla) husband, Thomas Schmidt had found a similar costume with red and white checkered shirt and brown, loose lederhosen.
Komtessernes sister Feodora had, along with her husband Morten Rønnow, also responded to the call. The couple were both in tyrolerkostumer. But The Lady dress was perhaps a little shorter than tyrolerkjolerne truly is. Tomorrow Monday fills the twins Camilla and Josephine 40 years. And so it is on party again for the part of the royal family. And as the twins, they are, with the course feast together for the whole family.

Some of the Rosenborgs were among 57 guests celebrating Princess Elisabeth of Denmark's 80th birthday according to Billed Bladet. No pictures unfortunately.
The same article also mentions Countess Josephine and Thomas Schmidt recently divorced.

Countess Josephine of Rosenborg is expecting her third child in August with her partner Kenneth Schmidt. She is already the mother of Julius (2001) and Clara (2004) from her previous marriage to Thomas Schmidt who ended in 2014.

Camilla is getting divorced after more than 20 years.  Coincidentally, in an article on the Delta Air Lines computer shut-down today, they quote a tweet by one Camilla Rosenberg, who is sadly stranded in Rome.  I naturally thought of *this* Camilla Rosenberg.
