I've read that Grace was tougher on her and that Caroline had the princess training that Stephanie didn't. What was that for? In my opinion, Grace teaching Caroline helped Caroline to be a great First Lady of Monaco after Grace passed away.

"Strict" might be the word, I think Grace admitted in an interview that she was more strict with Caroline.  It's a fault of many parents to be more demanding of the elder children than the younger.   As we get older ... the reins loosen.

Frankly speaking as a younger child, I wish my parents had demanded more of me instead of being more "coddling".  It would have been better training for coping with the world.

Also, Grace had a couple of miscarriages after Albert and after Stephanie, so she may have spoiled Stephanie a little bit more, being her last baby.

I ironically the strict upbringing helped Caroline be a great first lady of Monaco. She exudes elegance, class and regalness that came from Grace.

Strict ? She married a much older unsuitable husband first time around and then while waiting for a "Catholic annulment" got pregnant and married number 2. Then the German prince who was married to her friend - with another child on the way. She did what she wanted to suit herself - no different to other people in shady Monaco

Well yes Princess but you must admit, most of those things happened after Grace died. (Grace tried & failed to talk her out of marrying Junot.) And Caroline has always performed her duties for Monaco with panache.  I always felt pity for her because she went through a long period of unhappiness after her second husband was killed.  I think they were really happy.

Happy she had Alexandra though. That made her very happy.

True but Grace tried to talk Caroline out of marrying Junot but I am saying that the princess training was all Grace and it helped Caroline when she had to step up and be First Lady.

I think that's the classic poodle cut. You don't see it so much these days as it's very expensive to maintain and actually looks kind of silly to many people.

Meanwhile, some dog breed nobody seems to have known about previously just won the big Westminster dog show in the US. It's a very cute dog that looks a lot like some of those poodle-doodle hybrids, but apparently it's a pure breed.

That cute Westminster winner I wouldn’t be able to tell apart from all the schauzer / oodle crosses in my neighbourhood!

Congrats on your 500 posts!

I would love to have a standard poodle, but I think I would keep mine in a puppy clip, not all pompoms and puffballs like that one!
