When Prince Albert was born, did Princess Grace want his first name to be Gregory?

I would doubt it as she was a close friend of Gregory Peck so it might seem odd to name your son in such a way, especially as one day he would be ruler. I can’t find anything else about this online but that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. Just, in my opinion, I don’t think it is.

I have not found any Gregory mentioned in the Kelly relatives of Princess Grace. Were there any other male relatives of Grace named Gregory?

Are we allowed to post photos of Grace in this thread or is it more about news which features her?

It was her only musical. The single released of" True Love " was quite successful and reached no 4 on both US and UK charts, despite Grace's minimal contribution.

Just seen this! I was going to post some but TinyPic is closing down so I’m not sure what other one I can use that works with RD. When I do I’ll be sure to share Smiley

Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier, Swiss Alps, 1957. Photographed by Howell Conant.

Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier on holiday with friends. Not sure the date or who is with them but I like how Rainier has a cigarette lit whilst messing about in the sea!

Ninety.... oh my gosh, in my mind she's young dancing with Frank Sinatra around a pool. I can't explain the goddess she was when I was growing up.  Feet of clay or not, at the time she was one of the most adored women in the world.  Her voice, her body, her charm...sigh just the epitome of grace  Champagne
