I remember that when Elizabeth was crowned, the coronation was shot on film, which was developed in mid-air on a UK forces jet as it flew to North America. The film was then delivered to a Canadian station and broadcast throughout our continent.  Nowadays, I would certainly expect live coverage will be available globally, but so far I haven't seen word one about covering the event from any US broadcast network.

I also recall the late Richard Dimbey's somewhat florid narration of the coronation film. i wonder if we will have one standard universal English-language narrator this time? If so, I wonder who that might be?

I expect that we'll see the some or all of the major US broadcasters covering the Coronation service. For so many of us, this will be the first time that we've seen a British monarch being crowned at WA.
