I will guess that anybody looking at the site will already know who she is, and anybody looking for a Zara site at random will know who she is. Also her parentage and their success will have given opportunities but the talent is her own. |

I adore this family! I love Ralf's point, the talent is all her own. Sure her parents were successful in their sport but it did not stand to reason she would be automatically successful too. Contacts might get you so far but dedication and hard work get you to her level The hug with Wills hit me right in the feels, the affection is clearly genuine and it's lovely to see. Its rare to see anyone not in the extremely wealthy class get to her level. |

Its rare to see anyone not in the extremely wealthy class get to her level. agree - quite difficult with eventing if you haven't got the background, there used to be quite a few showjumpers who were not so affluent and got sponsored or employed by the owners of the horses but TBH that is a far less popular sport than it used to be. |

I have some misgivings about some kid glove treatment Zara and Mike have received over the years (their driving offenses, for example), and my first real introduction to Mike was the stories about some of his behavior on rugby trips (beyond just raucous all in good fun behavior) but they are growing on me, because their kids seem adorable and well adjusted and happy and healthy...better behaved, in my opinion, than Peter and Autumn's kids.
