I like Zara's dress, especially the scalloped detail at the hem, but I would do a different sleeve. Puffed sleeves like that belong on ballgowns or dresses for the seven and under set.
This is an annual thing for them, nice for them to get some sun and warm temperatures right now.

Some of the photos are quite tacky. You have to wonder where their minds are sometimes. I know they have to make money but pulling silly faces and being touchy-feelyfor the cameras is just stupid. |

I don't get why they seem to go a more and more commercial the last two years (I think) but they difinitely seem in sync and and they must trully have fun togeher.

I think they are doing just fine, they are both quite gregarious outgoing people. They behave impeccably at royal events and seem to be a great support to the senior members of the RF. They aren't hurting anyone with their actions, nor IMO, doing any harm or bring the Crown into disrepute.
Mike commented that the reason he did the Jungle was because, due to Covid, a number of speaking engagements he use to do had dried up completely. I got the impression their preference was always to do as much "privately" as they can but at the end of the day, they are both sportspeople by profession and as they, Mike especially, come to the end of that career they need to make a living somehow.

Zara is probably the closest the BRF has come to beauty (Beatrice and Eugenie can also look nice) but she has very poor taste in clothes. For Zara, looking good is an exception.
Also, and I am very very far from being a prudish person, I never need to see any body's tongue, either sticking from their own mouth or - worse - when they are kissing.

Zara was always a bit of a wild child, now that granny is gone it is getting "more commercial".
Two thoughts: My sociology professor used her in my college day as an example - it was the time when she got her tongue pierced and she was an "anti trend" - he explained, as people would use the royal family as a measure (remember how everyone wanted to have the same tupperware containers the Queen had when the Sun reporter leaked internal information?). Zara instead took a trend from the people which was very unusual.
Second thought: There is a generation change within the BRF - in 10 or 15 years all the old royals most likely won't work anymore (Charles, Camilla, Anne, ....). The focus will be on William and his family, George might be already dating, ... so Zara is way further removed from the crown than she was at her birth. So she is spreading her wings and leading a more normal life and she tries to get a few perks that come with her position.

I think they are happy and living their lives while financially supporting their own family. Magic Millions is work for Zara and being outgoing, funny, etc is part of it. Mike is a character and I actually love it. I hate Zara’s dress though.  |
