It reminds me of the dress Molly Ringwald wore in Pretty in Pink you couldn't quite believe that she made herself something so hideous and ill fitting even though she was supposed to be all fashion forward.

The original dress that Annie Potts' character gave her was way cuter. The dress she made was bleh.

I hate to say it but that dress reminds me of those awful Home Economics class projects we had to do back in the late 60ís although this looks better than mine did.  Smiley

My thoughts too. I remember trying to make a top with those sleeves. Not a pretty sight.

Zara can look beautiful but very often  her fashion choices are odd.

The outfit is simply horrendous, but at least they're having fun.

^ Flowers are Bougainvillea, a glorious sight at this time of year.

If she unwound her feet and stood in a graceful relaxed position, instead of hand on hip like a dance-hall girl in a Western, the dress might look a little better.

Or if the flowers had a different colour. The violet in back is totally clashing with the pink in the front.

Not fond of the blue hat, but otherwise, she looks great.

The large double collar gives an added boost to the houndstooth coat and she's matched her accessories very nicely.

Both coats are classic pieces that will serve her well. Wonder where she gets that from . . . Whistle

That is an aggressive collar on the houndstooth coat.
