I wish I had read this thread before I taught today...I did a little "tiara break" in my European History class and taught them about the Stuart Tiara (with the glorious picture of Maxima wearing that amazing gown and the full parure with the Stuart Diamond at the State Dinner with the Brits!)!

You think of Windsor Castle and just think oh the queen lives there etc but then you see Cyrils posts and realize just how long these buildings have stood and how much history is steeped in them.
