They were other photos of the three of them together, but I can't find them now.

It's confirmed, the Duchess has announced she's marrying in Sevilla in Autumn.
Her dress is rumoured to be by Victorio&Luchino, Sevillian designers and friends of hers.

Her first wedding in Life Magazine: http://books.google.com/b...onepage&q&f=false

The article that opens the thread is wrong, the Duchess is not giving anything away  Wink
The main properties(Palaces, paintings, land, historical archives...) are in a Foundation tied to the Dukedom of Alba and the rest of the titles, that will go to the eldest son, the Duke of Huéscar and can't be touched.

Cayetana has divided her personal properties among her children and grandchildren, but the donation is not effective until her death.

Not all the titles will pass to her eldest son. Several of her children have already gained titles from her. She ceded the titles of Duke of Aliaga (Alfonso), Count of Siruela (Jacobo), Marquis of San Vincent del Barco (Fernando), Count of Salviatierra (Cayetano) and Duchess of Montoro (Eugenia) to her children. The others will go to her eldest son, and yes you're right, they are held in trust which he as the head of the family, will inherit. Her eldest son is the only one she ceded no title to. The Duke of Huescar inherited his title from his grandfather, as he was alive when the last duke died, and the title passed to him.

Thanks Odette!    Star but the thread was started by Paddy!  Wink

I'm looking forward to the wedding, it's going to be very interesting  Thumb up . Her two previous weddings were attended by members of the royal family(to her second one infantas Pilar and Margarita) but this one is rumoured to be very private(I still hope for an Hola exclusive  Wink )

Victorio&Lucchino are a Sevillian couple, and the most cliched Spanish(Andalusian) designers I know, ruffles, carnations, polka-dots....
This is their website: http://www.victorioylucchino.com/
They've closed their atelier to dedicate themselves to her dress exclusively.

Some wedding dresses from their last collection(although it's very, very doubtful the Duchess will wear anything like this  )

The collection: http://www.detallazos.com..._lucchino_coleccion_6.htm

Well, she's still stunning  Dead, but what the hey - she's 85, she can marry whoever she wants, and I hope they're happy together.

OK I have to admit I had no idea who the duchess of alba was and i literally let out a slight yelp when i saw this picture.

 Nerves

Which one is the Duchess of Alba?

Trust me, JessBaby, this is one of her better pictures.

he looks like a sleezebag, just wanting the title and money...I just hope for her sake, that she can spent her life in happiness

Inside the majestic palace where Spain's wealthiest aristrocat will marry

She's been to see the king of Spain to seek his blessing and her six children are gathering in Seville ahead of her wedding. With just days to go, the fabulously wealthy Duchess of Alba's union with a family friend, 24 years her junior, is the talk of her country. The intimate ceremony will take place in the magnificent Dueñas Palace, which has belonged to her family since the 17th century.
