don't know what he'd be pissed about.  he's a spoiled kid always on vacation and regardless of if he becomes in charge of monaco or not, he's going to be a wealthy man anyway without worry for things.  no sorry feelings from me for him or his siblings.

First, I must say thank you for posting this picture of Andrea Casiraghi.  It is disturbing a bit...Please everyone let me know what you think about how Andrea is taking the marriage of his uncle, Prince Albert to Charlene Wittstock.  A child born to this union could change Andrea's life drastically.  Perhaps he is depressed.  Everyone plz chime in.  Please notice the photos of Andrea at Prince Albert's wedding.  He looked as though he were at a wake and not a wedding.  Compare with the pics of him at the funeral of Prince Rainier.
It's hard to tell.
I always thought he never wanted "the job", you know, being the Sovereign. Too much responsability. He is like a...free soul? (lol)
He was pissed off in his uncle's wedding, but God knows what happened there. They environment wasn't very nice from what i saw.
Certainly, a child of Albert and Charlene would change his life. Maybe for good. He is been limbo his whole life because his uncle never got married. He had studied politcal sciences, just in case. Maybe it wasn't what he wanted for him. It must be a sensitive matter to him, i guess.

I have to agree.  Also, I've never gotten the impression that Andrea was ever being 'groomed' for the job.  Yes, he studied political science, but I find with most royals it's either that or Art History. I believe that he always knew, deep down, that his uncle was going to find a woman to marry, just for a baby's sake.  If Andrea was ever really in the position to become sovereign, I think we would have seen him being more involved. Perhaps I didn't pay much attention to Monaco, but I never saw anything that would suggest this.

Makes the mess all that much bigger if Andrea ends up having to do the job. I wonder if part of that aimlessness with him comes from that - he's got no idea whether in a few years he'll end up roped into the role of Prince of Monaco, or if he can do what he wants with his life. That sort of situation must wreak havoc on long-term plans. And if he's really unlucky, Charlene gets exchanged for a younger wife a few years down the road, and the wait for a child of Albert goes on for another twenty years, or however long Albert stays alive. Andrea's more or less stuck in limbo as long as Albert doesn't get the situation sorted out, and he doesn't appear as if he wants a job that comes with that level of representative duties and responsibility.

I don´t think Andrea would suck like his uncle as Prince  Smiley
He is a very caring person, but I think he still suffers from his fathers death.  Sad
Pierre is the one who would attract business partner, Charlotte for the glamour, also she has an intellectual side, which Monaco needs. The Casiraghi children have so much potential, but it seems so wasted.

Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santodomingo, grand daughter of late Colombian multimillionaire businessman Julio Mario Santo Domingo, attended his memorial at Manhattan's Upper East Side in New York City, USA, 10 October 2011. The mortal remains of the 88-year-old magnate will be buried the upcoming Octiber 11th at the historical El Bronx cementery

It is sad, you're right Nathalie, but you're also right that she could have dressed more appropriately as it is
a memorial service.

I completely agree...I am baffled sometimes by Tatiana's clothing choices.  No

His countenance screams "recreational drugs!" It's really too bad, but not surprising given the family circus and the circles he travels.

Agreed with you both.  So sad about his appearance and i agree with the posters who have said that his problems may have something to do with having no real direction in life.  However he is an adult he should get involved in charity work or get a job in an office somewhere.  He has talent, connections and money.  Things most people can only dream of he should start to use them.

Time will tell.
