Michael Douglas? Did he actually say he's impressed by F&M? Now I know how he got his wife to marry him. His togue is dripping with honey.

"She isn´t wearing ANYTHING", said a young child

The empress shuddered, for she knew that they were right, but she thought, "The procession must go on!" She carried herself even more proudly, and the chamberlains walked along behind carrying the train that wasn't there.

Now I understand why she doesn't wear Danish fashion, it's not that she doesn't want to, it's that she looks terrible in them  Angel

She didn't only wear Danish Fashion - she butchered it, mostly.

Sorry if this was posted before:

A Princess Visits Queens; Queens Is Impressed
http://www.nytimes.com/20...enmark-visits-queens.html
Eutha Earl cleared her schedule. She wore her Sunday best. She even barred her son from visiting her apartment in Queens, saying he might distract her from her preparation.

“I said, ‘Don’t come,’ ” Ms. Earl, 81, recalled with a grin. “ ‘I’m going to see the princess.’ ”

The princess of Denmark, to be exact.

On Sunday, across the street from a bodega and a beauty shop and down the block from a supermarket that sells a package of six pastries labeled “Quesitos Dannish” for $2.99, the crown princess of Denmark spent an hour in a settlement house in Long Island City.

The stop was the latest in a series of appearances for the princess, Mary, who arrived in New York late Wednesday with her husband, Prince Frederik, the heir to the Danish throne.

During her visit, Princess Mary, 39, has eaten jerk chicken in SoHo, made a pilgrimage to the Sept. 11 memorial, attended a Danish cookout in Union Square and spent part of Sunday at a Jets game, taking in the view from a private box. Prince Frederik appeared at midfield as an honorary captain for the pregame coin toss.

“That was definitely a cultural experience,” the princess said of the football game, noting her fondness for “the way they barbecue out in the car park” and “the fireman guy who winds up the crowd.”

Princess Mary’s next stop was the Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House, a community center in Queens.

Inside the gymnasium, “Reserved” signs were posted on the upholstered seats of the front row. One read: “Reserved for HRH” — her royal highness. At her team’s signal, a receiving line formed in the lobby shortly before 5 p.m.

“Three minutes,” someone bellowed.

“Board members up front,” the executive director of the settlement house, William T. Newlin, said. Sharply dressed men and women shuffled quickly toward the front door.

Deshaya Franklin, 6, wearing a white dress and holding a bouquet, wandered to the head of the line. “Why is she in front?” an organizer asked. She was escorted about 10 feet away.

When she arrived, without her husband, Princess Mary was greeted with a series of bows, half-bows and gentle handshakes.

She heard speeches about Riis’s exchange program, which has sent groups for weeklong trips to Denmark in recent years, and she watched a presentation on body image and the media.

The instructor asked her students what terms they associate with the perfect body. “Big butt,” one girl said. The princess laughed. The room followed.

The settlement house was on the princess’s agenda because of its ties to Denmark. Riis, the celebrated social reformer in New York, was born in the Danish town of Ribe, and Princess Benedikte, sister of the current queen, Margrethe II, is the patron of the settlement house. Her picture hangs in the lobby, above photos of Riis and the N.B.A. player Ron Artest, who grew up nearby and recently changed his name to Metta World Peace.

Citing Princess Mary’s youth and popular appeal, some international media outlets have likened her to Princess Diana. She was born in the Australian island state of Tasmania and attended elementary school briefly in Houston.

Princess Mary’s introduction to Prince Frederik in 2000 has become grist for aspiring royals from Copenhagen to Sydney. The couple met at a pub in Australia in 2000, when the prince was visiting for the Summer Olympics.

Even before an 8-year-old named Shadiamond Thrower crossed paths with royalty on Sunday, she considered the office of princess to be a worthy career choice.

“I can make other people happy,” she said, removing a fur coat and adjusting her pink dress minutes before Princess Mary was to arrive. “And they would give me sparkling dresses.”

Shadiamond requested just one change when considering the merits of succeeding the evening’s guest of honor: She would rather be a princess in Queens. “It’s warmer here,” she reasoned.

so this trip came and went like the previous ones to It  Snore

I have real doubt and substantial proof by now that Mary would ever be the world famous adored woman she desires to be and no meeting with Kate or another Vogue photoshoot will help her prime was not that good and she is way way past that

Yesterday on a talkshow here in Denmark, errr, Micronesia, the talkshow host, Anders Lund Madsen, was talking about the royals. It was soooooo funny. He always calls her Margesty, Johnny Margrethe (dronning aka queen, sounds a bit like "Johnny"). He always calls Henrik, KING Henrik.
ALM was pondering on the fact that it is not allowed to take pictures of the royals while eating, but that Mary hadn´t been able to avoid photographers in New York, and he showed THIS picture in a huge version!

He also said that the Crown Prince couple had been in New York to open a "smørrebrød" shop. Love ALM.
