I think she wants to have royal patronages so she won't have to work. If she did charity work on her own, she would still have to get a job and that's what she's trying to avoid.

I'm with you on that. And she needs to make a move on it now, because if she doesn't get herself established as a royal representative in the next years, that ship will have sailed. Charles keeps saying he wants to reduce the number of actively working royals. If she doesn't have a firm spot by then, she's out. And then, horror of horrors, work looms ahead.  Nerves Or she'll just have to marry the filthy rich, posh boyfriend.

Exactly.  She's got a choice here.  I think if she can bring value to the BRF via charity work, Chuck might consider it.  But it almost seems like she wants to be guaranteed her income before she ever starts.  Chuck may have been silly enough to let Waity in the gate without a work history: let's hope he's not silly enough to do the same with Bea.

If I were her, I'd be planning to have to work or get married.  Either way, that sense of entitlement her parents gave her needs to go.

She'll go and marry the billionaire boyfriend. Or someone like him. Someone's got to keep financing Mommy, and I can't imagine Bea actually doing work that goes beyond a make-believe position because she's the niece and cousin of the next kings of England. For the next years she'll keep on trying to get a foot into the charity circle, and when that's failed, she'll be 30 and marry so she won't have to face the music.

Blink Bea wants to work in charity but isn´t allowed to?

Yes, Dave seems a bit shady.

On the nose SouthernBelle Star, that's exactly what I think she's trying to achieve.  After all, she's learned from her parents, two great "leaches on the taxpayers" how to do a little charity work on occasion which makes you look good but leaves lots of free time for traveling and fun, all at the taxpayer's expense.  Plus it helps keep Mummy in the spotlight too and she can piggyback her lifestyle on her daughters' money.  Ever since Kate has come into the family, I think there's been a huge effort on Andrew and Sarah's part to push the girls more into the forefront with their personal appearance (hence the stylist), saddled with the loss of Andrew's fakey "business ambassador" position.  I think they see their freebies ending...

I think Beatrice will have real trouble establishing herself on the freebies charity circuit. Fergie has spent many years  making a living out of her  years spent as part of the royal family. She could do it because she was no longer a member of it. Beatrice can't start weeping all over Oprah or giving the odd tell-all speech at a charity function simply because she remains a part of the BRF. She can't tell all about being a royal, and yet what else does she have to say or tell? She has no life experience,  and nothing to offer most charities. I suppose getting a real job, going to work every morning and working  regular hours is out of the question...? It's a shame she followed the example of her parents instead of cousins Peter and Zara.

A host of celebrity friends and fans joined Queen's Roger Taylor and Brian May in London last night to celebrate what would have been late bandmate Freddie Mercury's 65th birthday.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie rubbed shoulders with the likes of Nicola Roberts, Fearne Cotton and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson to mark the legendary singer's life at a glitzy party at the Savoy Hotel.

And just like the tragic frontman, the event was suitably flamboyant with drag queens galore and guests invited to dressed like the singer, with stars like Ben Elton, Stephen Fry, Matt Lucas and Chris Evans wearing Mercury-style moustaches.

Good grief, someone tell her to shut her mouth at least a little bit further. She looks like a startled pony.

IS DASHING DAVE GOOD ENOUGH FOR NEW-LOOK PRINCESS BEATRICE?

http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/269128

Quote
Yet according to insiders, rumours that Clark is planning to go down on bended knee now Beatrice has graduated could prove a little premature.

Beatrice, who gained a 2:1 in her history degree at Goldsmiths, University of London, in July has far more pressing matters on her mind, not least the conundrum of what to do with one’s life.

Sources claim the fifth in line to the throne was left bitterly disappointed after her father’s attempts to wangle her a royal role fell on deaf ears. An insider said: “Andrew has been talking to the men in grey suits to see if there could be a role for her but courtiers have said ‘no way’.

"She wants to do charity work ‘like mummy’ but the powers that be have put a block on her carrying out any official duties. They are trying to slim down the royal family as it is and there has already been much talk of both her and Eugenie losing their bodyguards. As a result Bea has got nothing lined up work-wise. It is a dilemma because the last thing they want is for her to be seen as a freeloader like Fergie.”

At six years Beatrice’s senior, Clark’s career is well established at Sir Richard Branson’s empire where he works on the multi-millionaire’s Virgin Galactic space tourism project.

The son of Michael Clark, a wealthy American who was chief legal counsel at Cadbury Schweppes until he retired six years ago, Clark is described as fiercely ambitious both in his career and socially.

Quote
A source said: “He can be quite aloof and doesn’t always seem to pay Bea all that much notice when they are out. He certainly doesn’t court publicity but there’s no doubt he likes the attention that going out with a member of the royal family brings. They get special treatment wherever they go and he enjoys being part of the jet set. You only have to look at the way he dresses and carries himself to see that he fancies himself as a part of the royals’ inner circle. Being with Bea has opened many doors.”

Quote
As one pal put it: “When Bea was a bit chubbier there was a sense that she was lucky to be with Dave. Now she’s lost weight, it’s the other way round. There’s been all this talk of marriage but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was now Bea, not Dave, who was considering their options.”

I used to say that Dave was too good for Bea.  But now Bea seems to have matured a bit.  I pray she dumps Dave and searches for other, richer fish.  Go for it Bea!

I've always thought Eugenie has a pretty face, she just needs to lose the puppy fat and I think she'll look great, those empire line dresses she wears just don't do her hips any favours.

Moving on from that, I remember as a child, my mother crying the day Freddie Mercury died, he was extremely talented and one-of-a-kind, now seen by some as an iconic legend, I think his memory and work lives on. Sadly missed I dare say.

Good lord. Why does Beatrice always look so excited/startled all the time?!

I agree, the purple/black dress is terrible. I don't ever hate Eugenie's clothing, but I find that I always look at Beatrice first and barely notice Eugenie.

Poor Eugenie is more attractive, but she has got the frumpy curse from her mother. No matter what she wears, it takes you about 15 minutes to realize you like it because she wears things so badly. Even Beatrice is starting to look a tad glamorous from time to time.

Tom Ford slams Princess' hat

http://www.belfasttelegra...rincess-hat-16044581.html

I agree with TF, Isabella would have known how to wear the hat.

About Dave, after reading the article it gives me the feeling that he is just another social climber and that the two will not end well, hopefully not.  Sad

Good God, fright night.  Where mama?  Why didn't she tag along with the girls?    Those y(p)ork girls are really
going about proving their worth-lessness.

Looks like Euge has taken KatieCam's eyeliner lessons.
