Highgrove

I haven't seen much coverage of Highgrove, Prince Charles Tetbury home, but is seems an interesting and pretty house:

The gardens are stunning:

And finally, Birkhall is Prince Charles's official residence in Scotland:

The interiors when it was the Queen Mother's home:

The grounds, where the Middletons learnt to shoot:

The log cabin, where the QM loved to get away from it all:

Hi Guys,

I am a new registry here, but I have been visiting for a while. I have a question. Can anyone tell me where this is? I found it as I was browsing for UK castles to visit when I go to England again.

Me too Drool Drool

I also like Charles' properties; even the plain farmhouse in Wales is beautiful.

Forde Abbey has beautiful grounds.  Thumb up

I loved your display of Prince Charles' homes, Future Crayon.  Star  Thank you.
The gardens at all three homes are a gardener's paradise!
Each house is lovely in it's own way; each suited to it's own country side.

Indeed! The grounds look wonderful! - I am such a sucker for British castles, and love to visit them whenever I go to Britain. - But, out of the castles on this thread, the log cabin is probably my favourite.  Blush It's the one where I'd like to spend some time to relax. Second comes Charlie & Cam "modest" place in Wales (looks fabulous to me!). I like the relaxed atmosphere it seems to have.

A few more BRF homes:

Princess Anne has Gatcombe Park, in the Cotswolds, which hosts annual horse trials:

Sophie and Edward have the extremely large and extremely grand Bagshot Park, in Surrey:

The entrance:

Prince Andrew gets the Royal Lodge at Windsor:

The Duke of Gloucester has Barnwell Manor, but is currently leasing it out. It has a ruined castle in the grounds!

Out of the ones above Anne's looks the least attractive. Eddy and Andy both have it too good; don't think either of them deserves what they've got. Not fair, is it, but life's not fair.

The accommodation "North Range" in the grounds of Charles' Wales residence has quite a reasonable tariff - from about 1400 to 2000 AUS dollars per week.  Gorgeous countryside.
I like how the cottages have been renovated using sustainable insulation, heating, paint and even hemp plaster!
