That won't stop Mo from f.e. taking kidnapping his children back to Dubai.

Princess Haya is a wealthy women. She has assets and a stately house in England and has always travelled freely. She is said to have taken 30 millions with her when she left, but even without that she will live well. One thing about the islamic way of handling things is that a woman has full authority over her funds, while the husband is responsable for her upkeep, and they are given a dowry on their wedding which depends an the wealth of the husband and the beauty, heritage and education of the bride. She would have been a rich woman since the contract was signed, and she would, like most Emiratis have parked part of that wealth  abroad.

It was certainly a good move on her side to involve western counties, but she cannot be compared to your ordinary victim of abusive relationships who will not have a chauffeur, pilot and first class lawyers at their disposal.
perhaps Islamic law or belief is supposed to mean women have rights over their own money, however I think that very much depends on who they are and the situation. Haya would have her own financial means but I truly doubt all women do.

So

How about that Princess Haya, eh?

Honestly? A pretty brave and impressive woman and mother, if you ask me. If she did manage to flee Dubai with two children, evading her husband and the Dubai security services, and get as far as Britain, and ensure that the legal case was not kept secret, and all to keep her young daughter safe, then wow. #teamhaya

Haya's current wikipedia entry:

Quote
Princess Haya bint Hussein (Arabic: الأميرة هيا بنت الحسين‎; born 3 May 1974) also known as Princess Haya of Jordan is the daughter of King Hussein of Jordan and his third wife Queen Alia, and the half-sister of King Abdullah II.

She is a graduate of Oxford University in England and an accomplished equestrian. She represented Jordan at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia and is the two-term President of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI). In addition, she engages in a variety of charitable activities.

In 2004, she married the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, becoming his second wife. In June 2019, she fled from her husband in Dubai with her two children and is currently seeking asylum in the United Kingdom while conducting legal proceedings over custody of the children.

The next round of court proceedings are scheduled for November.
She planned her secret departure well, however she is still the daughter of a king of Jordan, deceased yes, but much respected, and the sister of the present king of Jordan. Her life imo was  never in danger, and even Mo will only go so far for fear of offending Jordan. Again, just my opinion.

Haya might not be at risk, but I don't know what she might have endured in that marriage.

The catalyst for her leaving does seem to be in regards to her daughter's safety. Mo's wives might be safe, but his daughters definitely aren't.

I'd say all of them were/are safe as long as they do what Mo wants.
