I like the royal symbols that were embroidered on Letizia of Spain's wedding dress. These were fleur de lys, ears of wheat. and flowers.

Love her bouquet. A bit over the mega minimalist ones a la Kate and Meghan. Regarding the bmaids dresses, I thought CoE didn't allow strapless dresses in weddings.

A quick question, is it normal for British weddings or royal weddings in general to have adult bridesmaids or not? Eugenie, Diana, and Meghan only had child attendants and Kate only had a maid of honor as far as adults.

Bea's hat!  Laugh bounce

In the UK generally the maid of honour is an adult, and having adults as bridesmaids is very popular. Little girls are often flower girls, and despite the Royal weddings, pageboys are getting increasingly rare ☺

Diana had Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones, who was 17 at the time, so not really a child, but not quite an adult either (although only 2 years younger than the bride!!). They were friends, so in that sense, she was closer to a maid of honour.

Zara Tindall had only adult attendants, IIRC.

Thank you for posting this. Star

I love comparing the wedding dresses. But even more interesting is it to see how the various wedding guests have changed over the years.

Unfortunately not all parts of the series are online anymore. I get an error message when trying to open them

That's the thing with online contributions. Sometimes whole websites get blown into the abyss.

I've never noticed the shoes before! She looked absolutely incredible - she's gorgeous obviously but the colors and details are amazing. That tiara is so unique and beautiful.

The shoes are a revelation to me, too! They are GORGEOUS and even with the platform, that's a tall heel! I like that it's a block instead of a stiletto. And thought they barely show, they're still beautifully patterned.
