Waity agreed to taste food during the Canada tour, during visits to the children's charities in the UK, and she tried the wine in New Zealand.

In Denmark however she refused to taste the UN aid food destined for malnourished people in East Africa, and in India she said no to some local food.

Anyone notice a pattern there?  Whistle

But didn't she (and Willie) eat when they visited the Pacific Islands on their Asia tour, and they ate in Malaysia as well. I just think she has a problem with food, full stop.

When they visited Los Angeles, the chief pulled out all the stops and made a salad for her. He later told the press that Kate didn't eat it. The dish went back untouched. So I agree with that she is starving herself. I don't think it has much to do with the providers.

Most sugars and people that don't really follow the RF would write this off as "well we don't know what goes on behind the scenes blah blah blah" but it's becoming more and more obvious that there's a problem.  I'm no Kate fan at all but if she does have an eating disorder I sincerely hope that she gets the help she needs.

There are photos of Wm./Kate at the reception for the Bollywood charity gala, but does anyone know if they actually stayed for the meal?  A special menu was prepared, but I haven't seen any photos of the couple sitting down & enjoying the meal.

Latest gaffes for the record:

- Responding to Indian child beggars who were mutilated: "Gosh, so interesting!"
- Acting like a stage mom using George as a PR prop with Obama, then standing around in the background applauding with her man hands.
- Doing a whole-day cover shoot for Vogue, choosing to wear a $7,500 coat.
- Skipping real work only to make time to view portraits of herself.
- Has she even given a single speech in 2016?

Cleo 12 - I recall reading an interview with the Chef at that event (or maybe it was the Polo thing?) he claimed her plate came back untouched.

It must also be a security thing re: some situations with food.  Possibility of poison etc.  But right - she does seem phobic about food.

There are still many lessons Kate could learn from the Queen about how to be polite and appreciative towards your hosts.  When Queen Elizabeth II went to Morocco many years ago, King Hassan II of Morocco (father of the current young King today) kept the Queen waiting. She turned up on time for the banquet, but the Court sent word he was not ready, so the Queen had her chauffeur drive around the Palace for a while until he was "ready". The Queen always shows up on time, so she could have thrown a fit, but didn't. At the meal, even though the table was set European style with utensils, the Queen gamely used her right hand and not the left to eat some food (correct Middle Eastern etiquette). The Queen only showed how she felt after she had gone back onto the Britannia and after the musicians "beat retreat." (A ceremonial musical performance before the Britannia sails off.)  King Hassan was on the dock and was going to wave goodby to he Queen, but she had already gone into the interior of the boat.  It was a subtle way of letting him know her opinion, yet she didn't insult her host by refusing to partake of the feast.
