It must not take into account an ugly personality; that's the only reason I can think of for why Mary and Marge's scores are so high. Symmetry is irrelevant when One is a terrible person Tongue

Fred got 8.25  Yikes (2 points higher than his wife, not a good thing)

Inner-ocular distance too big for his eyes
Face width - nose width nearly ideal
Face length - face width nearly ideal
Mouth width to nose width nearly ideal
Ears too long for nose

1. Alexandra 8.9
2. Fred 8.3
3. Marge 8.1
4. Henrik 7.7
5. Marie 7.7
6. Joachim 7.7
7. Mary 6.4

I'd have to agree with these results. I thought Fred was very good looking before he married and even during the first couple of years after he married. His face is well-proportioned.

Alex too.

In fact, I thought Fred and Alex were a better match physically. Not only were they equally attractive in those days, but Alex's petite stature was a better match for Fred who isn't a big man.

Mary has the most asymmetrical, disproportionate face and body of the bunch.

I agree with you, Pocahontas Star  I also think that their personalities seemed compatible.

I think that Alex is way too intelligent/smart to Derfy .

I think with a different wife, Fred could've become a better person - though perhaps not too much smarter. Smarts is something you have or don't have.

I do agree! Fred needed a wife who could help him mature and develop his potential. Yes, he is not... the brain of Denmark and never will be, but he seems to have a nice personality, his heart is in the right place and with some help he could have become a better man... Or to be more precise, a MAN!
