Agreed. I think Dan is quite content with the level of attention he receives.

He always gives the impression he is there because of Victoria. He is doing his engagements nice and friendly. No coverage. His parents in law don't seem to appreciate him at all. I feel sorry for the guy, he constantly tries to fly under the radar.

Dan is probably one of the most underrated consorts. Even the Swedish court seems not really to bother to show Dans engagements while they’re always very eager to report about Sofia.

His face looks indeed a bit puffy and his hair is getting thin but he could look much worse for almost 50 years.

ITA. He reminds me a bit of Camilla, quietly getting important stuff done and not demanding a big song and dance about it. I wonder if the SR Court updates so much on CP and Hoefia in an attempt to justify their position or working in the SRF. Or Sofia could be demanding more attention given to her on the SM accounts, something I could completely believe and never see Daniel do

Also yes - Daniel and Camilla were aware of what they were signing up to do -  the love of their spouse was the most important role - and in Daniel's case I think he knew how much Victoria was, and is, undervalued.  She's one lucky woman - he made those vows in his wedding speech - and he's trying to live them!

(Favourite royal couple - can you tell!)

Daniel attended the panel discussion „Nature heals“

https://www.weforum.org/o...human-nature-relationship

He’s very well-read. Good for him and Vic that they’re able each has they own work and not so clingy like other royal couples.

Male consorts generally have a harder time. They can't just dress nice and look beautiful (not that I want to reduce women to this).

Also the concept of a male consort even if we're living in 21th century still seems odd (not in only royal houses. I must admit seeing Angela Merkels live partner Joachim Sauer doing the ladies program also seemed kind of "off").

Men must be much more district as not to outshine the women.

I think the table looks Covid safe, appropriate for a medical conference!

Still strange IMO, Sweden abolished the last restrictions long time ago.

The restrictions might be lifted but doctors are usually more cautious so it makes sense.

Daniel attended a high-level meeting on involuntary loneliness. The conference took place on the occasion of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union
