Dan is probably one of the most underrated consorts. Even the Swedish court seems not really to bother to show Dans engagements while they’re always very eager to report about Sofia.
His face looks indeed a bit puffy and his hair is getting thin but he could look much worse for almost 50 years.
ITA. He reminds me a bit of Camilla, quietly getting important stuff done and not demanding a big song and dance about it. I wonder if the SR Court updates so much on CP and Hoefia in an attempt to justify their position or working in the SRF. Or Sofia could be demanding more attention given to her on the SM accounts, something I could completely believe and never see Daniel do
Also yes - Daniel and Camilla were aware of what they were signing up to do - the love of their spouse was the most important role - and in Daniel's case I think he knew how much Victoria was, and is, undervalued. She's one lucky woman - he made those vows in his wedding speech - and he's trying to live them!
