The Houses of Grimaldi
«

Some of the official residences of the House of Grimaldi, I've left out Caroline and Stephanie's other private homes are there are too many of them.
The fairytale
Prince's Palace of Monaco
, official residence of The Prince of Monaco
Chateau de Marchais
, Picardie, France, official country residence of The Prince
Villa Clos Saint-Martin
(Left) is the official residence of Princess Stephanie and
Villa Clos Saint-Pierre
(Right) is the official Monegasque residence of Princess Caroline.
Villa Clos Saint-Martin
.
Next door is
Villa Clos Saint-Pierre
.
Roc-Agel
, is the privately owned official retreat in France, purchased by Prince Ranier in 1957. It was on her drive from here back to Monaco that Princess Grace suffered a stroke which led to her death in 1982.
The house below is alleged to be at the disposal of Andrea Casiraghi as his Monegasque residence, it's situated 3 houses to the South of Villa Clos Saint-Martin in Monaco-Ville.

There's a documentary on youtube that shows Roc Agel. Well, it's footage of the family being there.
I didn't know that was Andrea's house in Monaco.
Thanks Tatty for the pics!

Ditto!
I've always wondered what Roc Agel looked like. It's lovely.

Cordelia, my reply is
Yes.
The Mazarin Salon is adorned with ornate Italian woodwork done by Italian artists brought to France by Cardinal Mazarin. Over the fireplace hangs a portrait of Cardinal Mazarin.

Thank you, Cyril! I need to look more into the connection between Mazarin and Monaco, or maybe how Monaco became separate from France? There is a lot I don't know about this.
