Gustav & Carina and their children visted Graasten Castle














What a charmer he is! 55-year-old Prince Gustav and Princess Carina's little son was not at all to stand for when he helped witness the changing of the guard at Graasten Castle on Friday.

it's so strange to be happy about people we don't know personally but I see how Gustav looks at his son and I'm thinking how hard it must be for him and Carina, what they may went through until the moment they held their kiddos in their arms! It's so nice - to say the least - to see them with their own little family after all these years!

Mafalda's Christening
Marie was among the six extremely distinguished godparents who attended Princess Mafalda's christening in Bad Berlerburg on Saturday.

The godparents were:

Philipp of Hesse
Philip is 53 years old and Prince Gustav's cousin. He is the son of Princess Tatiana of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, sister of Prince Richard and Prince Moritz of Hesse.

Kelly of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha
Kelly von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha is 49 years old and American-born. She is married to Hubertus and from the German noble family of Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha.

Baroness Helle Reedtz-Thott
The baron couple Otto and Helle Reedtz-Thott from Gavnø Castle are close friends of Prince Gustav and Princess Carina.

Philippos of Greece and Denmark
Philippos, who is married to Princess Nina, is 38 years old and the son of Queen Anne-Marie and King Konstantin, a cousin of Prince Gustav.

I am so happy for them. They had to fight so hard to get to this point and here they are with two beautiful babies  And they really are adorable!

cute babies, both of them. But I think being parents of young kids at that age has to be a big challenge. Hoping there are some younger relatives around who can play energetically with the kids when they're a little older.
