She was such a pretty child and young woman

Yes, she was very striking looking. Strong resemblance to her mother.

I thought Ingrid coined that tradition?  Was it her mother instead?  If so, then do the Swedish princesses wear the bracelet too?  I don't recall ever seeing it on Vikkan or Madde.   Thinking  I wonder who makes the bracelet for them.  They don't still have an official court jeweler AFAIK.

It was ingrids mother who started the tradition - Ingrid just continued it. Princess Margareta only had one daughter and she went to Denmark and therefore the tradition was continued there. That is the reason why the tradition with the bracelets does not exsist in Sweden.

I thought Ingrid was a very pretty little girl . But as she matured , I thought her mother's features and coloring looked heavy on Ingrid, especially the dark, thick eyebrows. IMO she became plainer and less attractive as she aged but very "princessan-like" as a young girl.

Princess Ingrid was very pretty as a young girl/woman, but somehow she's got a very mature and regal look from the start. Not necessarily a bad thing for her time and age of course.
